BENDIGO
Race 3 | 3. Azulita
Desperately looking for 1600m and gets it on a surface that won't trouble her. She was really good late at Echuca when starting work to the line when outsprinted and probably should have finished closer with a smidge of room. Good gate to be able to go where she needs for best ground in the straight and the 3kg claim has her well weighted. The fave goes into the EQ as well but I this girl can break her maiden for sure!
Race 6 | 6. Yuuki
Cavalry Girl last start, Cruiserweight the start before, Celtics last time here at Bendigo, that is a bunch of decent horses that this girl chased home recently. Drawn really well to pozzie right off speed and although a while a go she did get through the heavy track before. Back to the 1100m no concerns and she does run well here at the track! She is fit as she could be and will take a lot of beating. My best of the day at the track!
CANTERBURY
Race 1 | 1. Threads
Was a bit keen in blinkers last start and they go off for winkers. Up to the 1200m is a plus second up which is what he did in his first prep when running well in the Black Opal behind Music Time. This is a nice start to the day and there is plenty of speed (2 W&B) and this bloke can stalk from that lovely gate. A few go into the EQ (Lorax has improved sharply with the break) but I can see this horse making that improvement with a race under his belt this prep and being very hard to hold out late.
Race 3 | 1. Cheval De Bois
I thought it was a huge run last start up to 2000m and the winner had a better speed map. Second time at the distance range will be of a huge benefit and drawn better to be closer today. The claim helps offset the weight and the only danger is Sister Daae who from gate one will drift back and need a bucket load of luck. I backed him yesterday at $3 and deductions will hurt but he is my best of the day!
Race 6 | 5. Miss Trentino
She has trialled up a treat and that leads to an early forward showing albeit this isn't normally her go. Mind you, her first up run last prep she had no luck and almost every horse out of the race has won. What is her go is jumping and running and from gate one she will be able to do exactly that. Soft drying track is best and the 1100 kick off is nice. Her form to end the prep last time in is good enough for this and she has had time to ready herself to be at that level here and be very hard to beat.
Race 7 | 3. Barking Mad
Is the horse in form and a quicker back up this time helps. Was nearly four weeks between runs last time out where he did hit a little flat spot when speed went on. Leader won the race. He will again box seat from that barrier but s midge more speed today is available. This is easier, J Mac goes on and the toe into the ground has him very hard to beat. Very short but I have him and CDB in a multi and I am 1 out in the Quaddie.

BENDIGO
Race 5 | 10. Nicereine
So close last start, on a heavy track. Been given a little freshen up. Should just jump and run in this small field now after scratchings.
CANTERBURY
Race 4 | 2. Oakfield Neptune
Been in good consistent form. Winning as a short priced favourite twice this prep. Got back and never a chance last start. Drawn better today and should present at the right time.
MURRAY BRIDGE
Race 1 | 5. Strong Minded
Has been improving with each start. Last start second was good, ran into a pretty smart one on debut that had been trialing well. Conditions suit, fit and knocking on the door to break maiden good each-way.
EAGLE FARM
Race 4 | 4. Freeland
Got back and hit the line hard over 1200m first up. Up in trip today drawn well to sit a little closer and ben Thompson sticks. The one to beat.
DEVONPORT SYNTHETIC
Race 3 | 1. Just Plain Nuts
Will use the good gate to punch through and lead or try hold out Geegeechaser. Back in trip suits and putting a line through last start. Should be able to hold them at bay.
PINJARRA SCARPSIDE
Race 1 | 8. State Of Boom
Overraced first up over 1400m and couldn't finish off. Back in trip, Willy Pike onboard and drawn to do no work. Will take a sit behind speed. And finish strong.
