Leading form analyst Mick Gannon from TheGreatTipOff and SENTrack & RSN has provided his best bets for Saturday's racing.

Race 5, No.2 - Perisher

Came with a big wrap and lived up to every bit of it first-up in Australia.

He worked against the day’s pattern and still mowed down his rivals with plenty in hand, a sign there’s genuine class here. Connections had two options and have taken the softer race where they can use the claim.

Llewellyn can work across from gate 8 to sit alongside likely leader Columbus and take a prominent spot. Throw in the 3kg off his back and a sharp tactical ride, and he looks too good for this lot.

Race 6, No.4 - Beside The Ocean

Hasn’t had things go her way yet this campaign, but she’s been building nicely underneath.

Barrier 6 gives her a lovely map, and Siena Grima can have her travelling sweetly before pouncing off what should be a strong speed. She was unlucky not to win at Group 3 level last prep and has had little luck this time in, but today shapes as the race she’s been waiting for.
