Race 2 | 1. Regal Ambition

Will find this easier when beaten fav in the Thousand Guineas after making up good ground to run third in a leader dominated race. She will get back as usual and the drop back in trip shouldn’t be a worry as she should be too good for them.

Race 4 | 5. Sweynesday (value)

Made up good ground first up when it was hard to in a leader dominated race. This is his pet trip and with the rain expected he hasn’t missed a place on soft ground. Is also two from four second up and is well worth an each-way play.

Race 5 | 2. Private Eye

Arguably should have won last start after getting into a bumping duel, hence JMac takes the reins who will be proactive and go forward. Has bumped into some serious gallopers this prep and he almost beat Cosmic Crusader first up back in August.

Race 6 | 1. The Next Episode

Has won four of his last five beaten by Blue Door last prep. Won well first up on the heavy beating Natural Fling and will only improve from that after going back to the trials for a blow out. He’s the one they have to beat.

Race 7 | 13. Russian Rock (value)

Wasn’t suited at Caulfield the way the race was ran when beaten fav. Will stay all day and will need an uninterrupted run when Dee makes his move. Looks the value runner.

Race 8 | 1. Lady Shenandoah

Was aided by a pearler of a ride when she won the Toorak. Form has stood up through the third horse Welcometotheshow who should have won last week. All wins have come on good tracks, every time on the soft she’s been up against the best of the best. Best mare in the race.

RANDWICK

Race 1 | 2. Tom Vegas (value)

Isn’t the worst and will find this easier than last start. Was beaten in the Dubbo Cup by the handy Puntin and will race forward. Each-way play.

Race 3 | 4. Ruination

Never disgraced himself after missing the kick last start. Drops a grade here and will go forward, he can win.
