Race 5 – 3. Novalargo

Novalargo looks well placed off a terrific first-up second behind the progressive Jenni the Cat. She’s 2/2 second up and is drawn ideally to stalk the speed. Deserves to be a clear favourite.

Race 4 – 4. Kion’s Kingdom

I’m a long way off from the market on race 4 as I’ve marked Kion’s Kingdom as favourite. He got caught in a speed battle fresh, with Hayley McCarthy spearing across from a wide draw. Good form has come from that race, and he gets in 1.5kg lighter with Sam Kennedy taking the ride.

Race 2 – 4. Halen

I made the case for Halen at big odds last start and we unfortunately found the favourite too good, but she looks pretty smart. 1400m at Launceston is his go and there doesn’t appear to be anything with the class of Agadoo in this field. Tricky map will require a good Sanderson ride, but I’m confident he’s over the odds.
