Miles' Group 1 winning squaregaiter, Rockinwithattitude, making her return to the track in the IRT Carlotta's Pride Trotters Free For All, and the trainer-driver makes his return to the TrotsVision.com.au coverage.

The four-year-old will make her return to the track for the first time since triumphing in the Breeders Crown final back in November.

"I am very happy with her," Miles said." She will need the run, she had a couple of pretty serious trials the last couple of weeks, she also trialled very good last night (June 3)."

The filly out of Rockin Shiraz has drawn 10 for the $25,000 event.

"The backrow over the 1700m at Melton is never easy," he said.

Miles and Rockinwithattitude have also booked themselves a spot in the $150,000 Group 1 The Great Square as part of Queensland's Constellation carnival.

"Her next aim is in Queensland with The Great Square, but I think she will be competitive (this week), but it is going to be a tough ask with some nice horses off the front row," he said.

The Chris Angove-prepared, Ebonys Avenger has drawn one with Ryan Duffy set to pilot.

The Monegeetta horseman knows her race fitness will be the main thing to work on ahead of a trip to the Sunshine State.

"We just need her to work on her fitness, we need to get her back into match practise," he said. "Trials are great, but you actually need to go to the races.

"The way she trialled last week and last night, we are pretty happy with her."

The 51-year-old is set to be part of the Trotsvision coverage channelling his inner Brian Taylor - taking control of the roaming mic.

"I did it a couple of year ago, but I haven't done it in a while. It will be good to be back in the seat,"he said.

The budding TV-star is not sure where the fun and frivolity of the live broadcast might go as the night unfolds.

"The boys in the truck might need to be careful on the dump button," he said. "We might have a bit of fun."

Miles might have to play interviewer and interviewee if his star squaregaiter can get over the line.

"I might have to ask myself the questions, and I think I might know the answers," he laughed.

David Miles is set to join Tim O'Connor, Brett Carroll and caller Dan Mielicki from 4:45pm on TrotsVision.com.au.
