RACE 1 - OAKFIELD PEEWEE (1) is close to a win and was favourite when a close third at Wellington two weeks ago. Wide gate can be offset and has blinkers on. Go well. FIGHTING DAUGHTER (9) was placed in a similar race here two starts ago then not disgraced when a big drifter in betting at Grafton. Looks a good chance. OBVIOUSLY ALBERT (3) has come back in good form with a placing at this track and a solid fourth at Tuncurry. Draws nicely and is a major player. CATS QUARTERS (7) and BORN CONQUEROR (4) are in the mix.

RACE 2 - VANDELIGHT (13) backs up after being run down at Muswellbrook last week on a heavy track. Drops 2kg on that and should be at peak now after three runs back. Hard to beat. ANGELINTHENIGHTSKY (6) also led at her latest appearance and was run down, over this course last week. Drawn to be prominent and is a definite chance. PRINCE IS GAME (7) is locally trained and on debut after a nice trial on heavy ground last week. Keep safe. KAIYU (10) and IDOL SHOT (4) are among the chances.

RACE 3 - RUM DIARY (1) looks the one to beat after one run back for a closing third at Wyong a couple of weeks ago. Done nothing wrong and with even luck from the gate should take beating. SHEZ LETHAL (8) has been around the mark without winning of late and draws nicely again. One of the main chances. CHASERLETTE (6) dropped in trip when four over 1000m here earlier in the month so the rise in trip again will suit. Definite chance. GIVE IT A NUDGE (10) and AMPLE TIME (4) are worth considering.

RACE 4 - BESTOWER (3) won at this track before a spell then found it too short when a close fifth at Wyong fresh. Smaller field and extra ground are ideal. Sure to take beating. WILDERNESS STAR (6) was a runaway winner over this course on a heavy track last week and while up in class she's in top form. Could go on with it. INCENDIO (1) scored his maiden win over this course back in October then resumed with a sound third at Wellington two weeks ago. Fitter and one of the chances. HIGHLAND RAIDER (9) and SCALEXTRICS (5) are place chances.

RACE 5 - MAGIC SHOT (4) is fitter for two runs back over shorter trips and should relish the extra ground here. Blinkers go on and he's a good chance to feature. LUNARTIE (1) is the logical horse to beat after a close up fifth at Newcastle second-up. Just needs to handle the conditions. OPUS (3) might want a bit further but on a wet track he's worth keeping safe fresh. STRATUM CHIEF (5) and TOUGH CASE (7) have place claims.

RACE 6 - OAKFIELD BADGER (5) won over this course in November then backed it up a month later with a game Tuncurry win. On the up and while drawn wide has the speed to be up there. Good chance. COURAGEOUS QUEEN (8) likes a heavy track and will find this a bit easier than last time at Scone where she led and boxed on. Has to be considered. PROCRASTINATOR (1) is a speedy type who will use the inside gate to be handy and if he finds the lead could give some cheek. WANJINA ROSE (9) and CAVENTE (7) are among the chances.

RACE 7 - RUN RORY RUN (9) is a proven wet tracker who showed a return to form with a handy first-up effort at Tuncurry. Fitter for that and will race forward. Go well. LION CLASS (2) will get back from a wide gate and has a big weight but will appreciate a class drop on last couple. Big effort at Newcastle last time and is a threat. ZANARDEE'S LANE (3) was a beaten favourite last start at Grafton. Previous two runs sound so entitled to another chance. MISS ARIZONA (6) and LA QUINTA DONNA (12) have each-way claims.
