RACE 1 - ROCKIN' ROBIN (5) has looked good at the trials coming into his debut today and gets the services of Pike for his first start. He was impressive winning his most recent trial by 2.5L and he draws the inside barrier today. The exposed form looks average, leaving the door open for a horse like him to shed the maiden tag. FIGHTING THUNDER (1) is probably the best of the raced brigade having bumped into a couple of good ones on debut in town. This is a much easier race, and he trialled around Rockin' Robin recently. Expecting him to put his best foot forward. GOD SHE'S SASSY (7) was well beaten in her first trial, but bolted in most recently in a trial that's very hard to ignore. She had the blinkers on there and they remain on for her raceday debut. Just has to run up to that trial to be competitive. COONDLE (2) just missed last start at Pinjarra and is on the quick turnaround. Has claims. SHOOT TO FAME (8) was behind God She's Sassy in a recent trial and is worth including.

RACE 2 - SKYTALKER (4) stormed over the top to win at Belmont last time out, pulling away from his rivals to bolt in by 2.6L. Pike remains in the saddle and suspect similar tactics will be adopted as he steps up in grade. At peak fitness now and can win again if he runs up to his last start figures. SIRIUS STORM (6) got the job done first-up before a disappointing effort at Belmont a fortnight ago. That was on a heavy track though, and he now drops in trip with the blinkers going on first time. CJP rides from a nice draw and a return to winning form wouldn't surprise. VENTURO (7) was just fair first-up at Belmont and should appreciate getting out in trip second-up. Chris Parnham remains in the saddle and with improvement expected, he can make his presence felt. CATCH THE RED EYE (3) is better than he showed last time out and he'll appreciate getting back to easier company. Can bounce back. HEYFIELD BOOMER (2) is a horse on the way up and is worth including.

RACE 3 - TEABISCUIT (1) stuck on well over 1000m last start and can be better getting out in trip at this stage of the campaign. Noske hops back in the saddle and he's placed 2/4 over this trip. Can get to the front and take plenty of catching. BIRD ON A WIRE (12) was caught wide and without cover throughout before fading out of contention late in the race. He's run well second-up in the past and he should get every chance under Azzopardi. Can be right in the finish. BOLTCO JACK (2) has won two trials leading into this after finishing well back in his last race start in August 2023. His trials suggest he's ready to go first-up and if he's close to his best, he can go close to winning. CEILI (13) returns without a trial coming into today's assignment. Can be about the finish on resumption. BILL SELECTS (9) appears best of the rest.

RACE 4 - MAGICASH (3) was very impressive on debut, sitting outside the leader and scoring comfortably in the heavy conditions. She draws a better gate this time for Pike and should be prominent from the outset again. Looks a nice filly in the making and she can remain undefeated. HOSTILE TALK (1) jumped favourite first-up at Belmont and was beaten 1.1L in the heavy conditions. Expecting him to be better with the run under his belt and a swag of gear changes this time. Rises in weight, but has good talent and appears the main danger. ROMMING DANGER (4) beat home Hostile Talk last start and can improve again third-up into the campaign. The wide draw is the main niggle, but he's in good touch and another bold effort is anticipated. TWIGGER (2) is better than he's shown his past couple and gets some things in his favour this time. Can bounce back. HOT NOVA (5) should appreciate this company first-up and won't be far away.

RACE 5 - CITY ANGEL (1) gets out to 1200m for the first time after closing off well as favourite at Belmont last time out following on from a narrow defeat behind The Boss Lady two back. She looks ready for this trip now and Martinan takes off 3kg. She looks to have found her race. SHE'S IMMINENT (8) is better than she's shown her past couple and getting out in trip on the quick turnaround can get her back to her best. Chris Parnham takes the ride now from an inside draw and she can make her presence felt. LADY OF LIGHT (6) missed the start and never got into the race in her WA debut. She now steps out in trip with the blinkers on first time, and she has placed 3/4 second-up into the campaign. Can improve. THE GREAT HOYA (4) usually improves second-up and getting out in trip can help him do that. Live chance. JELLY CAN RUN (5) has to be included on the back of his last start effort.

RACE 6 - SENTIMENTAL BELLE (5) resumed on a good note at Belmont when beaten just 0.3L in heavy going a fortnight ago. William Pike remains in the saddle, and while she is likely to get back in the run, she has performed well using those tactics previously. Returned close to her best and can go to the next level now. PEARLY NUGGETT (2) just missed as favourite over this course and distance 10 days ago and she is a second-up winner previously. Can build on the fresh effort and put her best foot forward. KING CARTEL (1) resumed with a good rating at Belmont in Saturday grade, not being disgraced in 3YO open company. This is a much easier event and he is a second-up winner in the past. He should get every chance from the draw and while he does rise in weight, he's a leading chance. RIG A DIG (3) is better than he showed here last start and is not to be discounted. COUSIN NICCI (4) can put her best foot forward on resumption.

RACE 7 - LORD RANDOLPH (5) steps out to this trip again now fourth-up into the preparation after closing off well as favourite at Belmont last start. Pike remains with the gelding who has got solid figures over this trip in the past. The inside draw is a big tick and with improvement likely, he'll be very hard to beat. BIG SWOOP (8) was well beaten over this course and distance 10 days ago, but looked to bump into a couple smart ones there. He's ticking along nicely though and he has been well fancied on a number of occasions recently. Won't be far away. MYSTERY MOMENT (4) wasn't disgraced over 2100m in Saturday grade last start and now gets Chris Parnham in the saddle with a drop back in class. She hasn't won for a while, but this looks a suitable race for her and her recent performances would see her in the finish. ARNRAY (2) deadset bolted in over this track and trip last start and must be included. ZACKARIAH BEAU (1) is never far away and can bounce back.

RACE 8 - PRINCE I THINK (3) got the job done at 15-1 at Northam last start and posted a solid figure on that occasion. Pike hops into the saddle now and he should get a similar run from an inside alley today. Third-up now and at his peak, he can improve again and knock over this suitable assignment. LYRICAL ANGEL (8) rattled home to score narrowly at Belmont a fortnight ago, scoring by 0.2L with Steve Parnham in the saddle. Suspect similar tactics will be adopted form the wide draw again today, with the filly looking as though she'll relish the extra journey. Can continue to work her way through the grades. KISSES FROM KELLY (5) has been back to the trials since a 1.3L defeat at Ascot 39 days ago. He's never missed the placings second-up and his record at the trip is worth noting. Sure to be in the finish. BAMBUN BOY (1) can build on a solid first-up run and is not to be discounted. BEAU TALK (2) won narrowly as favourite last start and has claims.
