RACE 1 - KENTUCKY ROSE (7) resumed with a near miss at Ipswich and then didn't finish it off at Toowoomba. Has the first-time blinkers applied to sharpen her up and fitter she's the one to beat. LOOK IT'S LUCY (6) peaks and assess her on the lip defeat at Gatton two-back. She can control the race and is a danger. BOONAH FLASHER (3) wasn't far away at Toowoomba and can build on that. KEWELL (2) has switched from a NSW barn and would win at best. He's been disappointing this preparation so trust is required. SHEZ TALKING (4) debuts with the blinkers applied and has a 4kg claim. A betting watch.

RACE 2 - PARIAH ON FIRE (11) disappointed again at Toowoomba as a short-priced favourite but three back just missed there over this trip. She will cross over and ride the speed and the blinkers go back on. A return to form is likely. BRAVE DEEL (1) has switched from a Victorian yard and raced favourite at Stawell 32 days ago. He also draws wide but this is winnable. PIG IN THE CITY (12) is fit and has the rail and 2kg claim. In the mix. PUSH TURBO (6) has trialled solidly since last seen and the early betting suggests he can improve.

RACE 3 - AU REVOIR (9) was quickly back to form narrowly beaten at the Sunshine Coast in stronger. On a 7-day return and will push over and ride the pace. Gets her chance in this line-up. KNEZE (3) has been knocking on the door at Ipswich. The extra metres should suit and he can make the finish again. SHAMUKA (8) comes out of the same race and disappointed. His efforts at the Sunshine Coast prior read well and Stanley is a positive jockey booking. A bounce is likely. SEERESS (6) turned the form around winning a 60 at Kilcoy over 1900m and deserves consideration.

RACE 4 - DARE I SAY (13) runs along and was quickly back on track placing here. She will skip across ton the pace and gets her chance. WRITTEN LEGACY (10) is an improver from the Robl yard. An outside barrier requires a good ride but she should go close. BOVIDAE (6) has trialled well for the return. The in-form Huxtable rides and he also has decent claims. SHOW ME THE STARS (7) resumes here with a fair effort. Better for that and has a handy barrier and 3kg claim. Can't be ruled out on what we've seen.

RACE 5 - FREDDIE (2) led narrowly beaten at Ipswich first-up and hasn't missed a beat. He will ride the pace and the extra metres suit. Fitter and will be hard to beat. UNION SPIRIT (3) has been saved for this and seeks the hat-trick in stronger. Maps for a soft run and the 3kg claim brings him right into it. BETTER YET (4) is in a sharp metro yard and did about what expected first up. She has plenty up her sleeve and finally draws a low gate. Fitter and a serious player. PRINCE OF DIAMONDS (5) was a big winner at Esk spiking his figures. Gets in light with the 3kg claim and is worth consideration at a price.

RACE 6 - LUCKY JESS (11) has the advantage of an inside barrier and will use it. Went close here behind Cluster's Rein in a CL3 this track/distance and has solid each-way claims. CLUSTER'S REIN (2) was quickly back on track winning that contest as the market expected. Has more weight but will get every chance to go back-to-back. TEE AMICI (13) just missed at Gatton and then dropped right out on a heavy track at the Sunshine Coast. Peaks and this suits much better. A winning chance with average luck. THE GOLDEN SOUL (6) mixes the form but races forward and he's going to be competitive.

RACE 7 - ALLEZIZZY (12) missed a lip at Warwick and then improved again belting the Maiden here by 3L heavily-bet. She led in that and is likely to do the same today. Peaks and can go on with it now. ONE IN ALL (6) resumed at Gatton narrowly beaten. He has more to offer and keeps the handy 2kg claim. Will race handy and fitter should get every chance. NEW YORK GAL (4) was okay at Dalby but better prior winning the CL3 at Chinchilla. Has a handy 3kg claim and expect the awkward gate to be managed. CONSTANT CAFE (7) draws low and would be a winning chance if she found her best.

RACE 8 - Tough. STORM FORCE TEN (7) has been racing in stronger company and has been freshened. He can use the rail and he gets his chance in country grade. CURRY LEGEND (13) led and spiked his figures winning a 58 comfortably at the Sunshine Coast. Maps for the run on the race and just needs to run out the longer sprint to feature. STORMTROOPER (8) runs along and has been busting to win. Raced favourite at Gatton last time and the 3kg claim brings him right into it. DRAGON PINS (3) resumes for Hatch yard and the in-form Huxtable stays aboard. Usually needs a run but this isn't overly hard and he maps for a soft run.

RACE 9 - GALEKA (7) won three -back and has been beaten a nose the two since in stronger. Has a handy 3kg claim and maps for a soft run. Peaks and has strong claims. PALATIAL PRINCE (8) races forward and peaks. Has laid a nice platform and should go close. ALPINE LADY (12) quickly found form for the new barn winning the 55 at Kilcoy. Has to manage a wide gate but she has more up her sleeve and is a chance. DIMENSION (4) brings decent synthetic form and has been trialled since last seen 62 days ago. Positions forward and his turf figures stack up. The 3kg claim brings him into it.
