Extra distance shouldn't pose a problem and can win again. SIX FOOT SONG (1) is racing well on the provincial circuit this time in and will find this more to his liking after finishing fifth over 2000m at Wyong on June 6. Expecting more today on the firmer track from the inside gate. NATURE BOY (4) back in trip with the 58kg when a plodding 11th over 1600m at Moree on June 4. Go on solid earlier runs over this trip when assessing his chances. Has genuine top-three prospects. KING CORNELIUS (5) won well two back before disappointing in much stronger company when tenth over 1614m at Taree on June 9. Best form is over this trip and looks good each-way value.
RACE 2 - OBVIOUSLY ALBERT (3) back in trip and grade for this after tiring late when fifth over 2000m at Wyong on June 13. Backs-up quickly and finds his right race to break through today. SEBILLA (11) fitter after two runs back and strong through the line when third over 1300m at Scone on June 11. Looking for this trip now and expected to play a leading role. SIRIUS FLYER (12) Zoustar filly with ability after two sound performances. Sat midfield with the 58kg from the wide gate when a tenacious second over 1400m at Moree on June 4. Maps to get the right run and sure to be strong late. RELENTLESS RUBY (10) returns from a 42-day let-up after doing her best work late when fourth over this track and trip on May 10. A repeat of the latest keeps her in the mix.
RACE 3 - OBVIOUSLY GOOD (4) gelding by Exosphere on debut for the O'Gorman yard. Has looked sharp in both trial wins and gets in light with the 3kg claim. Expected to be forward enough for this. REMBROY (5) trained on the track and returns from a five-month break. Unlucky not to have shed his maiden status last time in and expected to have strengthened up over the break. Returns without a trial and has a handy fresh record. Go close. THOR'S LIGHTNING (7) even return when battled away late to secure fourth on resumption over 1100m at Wellington on May 30. Fitter now and gets his chance from the inside gate. SUPER SIOUX (11) filly resuming after failing to make an impression on debut when eighth over 900m on July 14 at Scone. Fitter with two sharp trials and has the ability to take a hand in the finish.
RACE 4 - HAIKU STAR (5) handy gelding who can carry the extra weight today and win again from the inside gate. Stalked the speed and asserted his authority when a tough length winner over this course and distance when resuming on May 10. Bar plates (front) go on and has excellent figures here. KING LARRY (13) looked slick on debut when led all the way to score as fav over 1007m at Taree a week-and-a-half ago. Well drawn again and the firmer track can see him improve further. SCHWOON (7) looked good when winning two back over this trip before finishing eighth over 1000m at this track on May 21. Not to be underestimated. HIRAISHIN (1) racing in career best form and gets weight relief again with the 3kg claim. Rounded them up effortlessly as fav when winning over 950m at Moree on June 4. Look for him late.
RACE 5 - SANZENO (3) resumes for the Mack Griffith yard after doing all his racing in Victoria. Since fitted with a recent 1000m trial win at Scone on June 12. Blinkers come off and has the numbers to figure prominently first-up. FANTASTIC BEAST (1) Saxon Warrior gelding resuming after making some ground late on debut when sixth over 1200m at this track on January 8. Fitted with two trials and gelded over the break. Forward showing anticipated. BEECHUNO (7) fitter after two runs back and expecting more out to the 1200m today. Ran on late over the 1000m when fourth at Scone on June 11. Can add value to the exotics. SCOOTALOO (11) returns after nine months in the paddock and lone placing came at Beaumont (Newcastle) last time in. Has two trials under the belt for this and gets the blinkers added for the first time. Stays in the mix.
RACE 6 - HVARDANCE (11) resumes after bumping into the speedy TOO DARN LIZZIE on debut when seventh over 1000m at the Gold Coast on January 13. Finished a close fourth in a recent 900m trial and looks ready to go today from the inside gate. WICKED TESTIMONY (1) fitter after two career runs and desperate for this distance and a firmer track. Powered late from well back when a narrow fourth over 1000m at Dubbo on May 25. Blinkers come off and expected to play a leading role. NO MORE ROMANCE (3) has shown promise in both runs and kept ticking over with a sound third in a recent trial over 1000m at Scone on June 12. Fitter now and can take a hand in the finish. GOTTA FLY (4) had no luck with the barriers this time in and should appreciate jumping in trip after catching the eye late when sixth over 1000m at Muswellbrook on May 3. Will be strong late.
RACE 7 - DYLAN'S LAD (11) progressive gelding with an excellent second-up record. Sat on the speed on resumption when a fighting fourth over 1200m at Kembla Grange on May 18. Since fitted with a recent trial win over 1000m at Scone on June 12. Looks too strong for these. STARRY JACK (1) handy gelding who will appreciate the 3kg claim from the good gate after returning to form with a sound victory over 1100m at Armidale three-and-a-half weeks ago. Expected to stalk the speed and take a hand in the finish. CAPITAMY (10) raced in tougher grade at his last two outings and not that far away at latest when ninth over 1200m at Wyong on June 6. Will need a bit of luck early from the sticky draw. GERETY (12) has needed the two runs back and will find this more to his liking after finishing sixth over 1200m at Wyong two weeks ago. Not without top-three claims.
RACE 8 - INVADER'S GIRL (10) is holding her form well and a win looks imminent. Powered late from out wide when an eye-catching fourth over 1300m at Scone on June 11. Backs-up quickly and gets nice weight relief with the 3kg claim. STARPOPPY (13) back in trip for this after making up good ground late when a gritty sixth over 1600m at Moree on June 4. Lone win came over this trip and watch for her late. MY DIAMOND BOY (8) fitter for two runs back and gets all the map favours again from the good gate after finishing fourth over 1250m at Gunnedah on May 26. Baker rides again with the 3kg claim and expected to be in this for a long way. KALAHARI HEART (6) holding her form well prior to drawing out when a total forgive finishing eighth over 1300m at Armidale on May 28. Claim helps from the low draw and can take a hand in the finish.
RACE 9 - LONHRO'S QUEEN (11) handy filly kept fresh and back in trip after holding ground to the line when fifth over 1400m here eight weeks ago. Kept ticking over with a trial placing over 1000m at Scone on June 12. Blinkers come off and the visors go on. Can sit off them and pounce late. Go close. WATER LAD (5) has a sound record at his first prep and happy to overlook latest eighth over 1200m at this track when drawing out on May 10. Can run into the minor money. EVASIVE NATURE (3) undefeated second-up and sharp improvement anticipated from the good gate. Snagged back from the wide gate when a plugging eighth over 1100m at Dubbo on June 7. Had a few gear changes and can return to form. POCKET PICKER (7) comes off a 42 day let-up with sound form. Run down late from the wide gate when a close second over 1000m here on May 10. Drawn out again and stays in the mix.
