RACE 1 - DREAM SMART (9) resumed from a spell with a brave effort for fourth at Doomben. She had to make her final run wide that day after getting pushed back during the run. She will strip fitter and will be looking to hold her spot a lot closer to the pace this time. The bigger circuit here and an extra 90 metres could make all the difference, so stick with her. On top. LIPAROTA (10) still has a lot to learn and greenness has cost her a closer finish in all of her 3 starts to date. She got going late at Doomben a fortnight ago and was just over a length from the winner in fourth place that day. She has the advantage of the pole position this time and is set to put her best hoof forward. WANGANEEN (5) did a few things wrong on debut at Doomben and will be better for the experience. Watch closely. REMLAP KAVA (12) Was well in the market on debut last start but could only manage seventh over 1000m at Sunshine Coast. Tackles a longer journey this time. Can improve sharply.

RACE 2 - EDGE OF SEVENTEEN (7) finished third in all of her 3 career starts when trained in Victoria and was sent out as favourite in the last 2 of those. She has since switched yards and would have matured since then. A recent fifth placing at a recent trial will have her spot-on fresh up. Can win. BUCKS FIZZ (6) was a beaten favourite fresh-up at Gatton over 860 metres and only wound up late that day. She is a progressive filly who is more suited to this trip and can set the record straight. Follow your money. WINNING EDITION (9) has been given a short spell since finishing fifth here 9 weeks ago and was a somewhat unlucky third at Ipswich before that when resuming. Vlad Duric steps into the irons and the pair merit healthy respect. SPIRITUAL SONG (8) looked good when winning her only public trial at Deagon last month and hails from the leading Tony Gollan stable so she will be ready to rumble on debut. Let the markets guide you.

RACE 3 - PAYLINE (6) was chasing down a hat-trick when rising in class at Ipswich last time out and after having no luck from a wide gate, he fought on gamely to finish a brave fifth. He has a big swing in the draws this time and in an easier assignment, he can bounce back immediately. Follow your money. PARTY SPIRIT (5) finished sixth and just behind the top pick in the same race last start and only peaked on her run late that day. She will be much better with a run under her belt and has the scope to work her way right through the grades in this prep. PINK CASHMERE (7) changed stables after her fresh-up run at Warwick Farm and charged home late to finish runner-up at the Sunshine Coast in her first Queensland start nearly 4 weeks ago. She is perfectly weighted for this after a 3-kilo claim and is good enough to go one better. INVINOVICH (2) has built up a very handy record and his form is heading the right way this prep with a last start second-placing at Rockhampton to his credit. Include.

RACE 4 - ADDITION (11) is showing some promise and was sent out as favourite fresh up at Doomben a fortnight ago when she finished fifth after running out of condition late that day. She cops a nasty gate this time but will relish the extra furlong to travel. The blinkers going on for the first time will help and she can't be ruled out of winning this. FINE AND RARE (2) was runner-up in 4 of his 6 starts during his initial campaign and is having his first start for the season here with a couple of trials under his belt. The pole position will help and he has to be respected. POUTCHEK (13) was fourth fresh up at Doomben when racing keenly during the middle stages that day. She strips fitter. KENSHIN MARU (4) last appeared three-and-a-half months ago when he finished half a length from the winner in second over 2150m at Ipswich. A big run fresh will not surprise. Each-way.

RACE 5 - BROOKHAVEN (1) was a solid runner-up here in a tougher contest 2 starts back before finishing close up in fifth place in the Ipswich Cup 18 days ago when hitting the front early in the run home that day. He drops right back in grade for this assignment and a handy 3-kilo claim will bring his top weight down to a more manageable impost. Stick with him. On top. LATELY (6) was only nailed right on the line when finishing second in this grade at Ipswich last start. The drops in journey should not pose a problem and his chances will soar if the track is wet. VICTORY WIN (8) can be hard to catch but did win as expected in an easier lineup at the Sunshine Coast a month ago. He drops 2 kilos in weight and can take the next step immediately. SECURITY ADVISOR (10) did not have much luck when finishing midfield last time out and his form before that run was building nicely. He has the blinkers back on to wake him up and also has 5.5 kilos less to carry this time. Include in all combinations.

RACE 6 - YET HE MOVES (5) was switched to the Queensland arm of the Chris Waller stable after some average runs in Sydney and immediately showed improvement by winning at Doomben a fortnight ago. He will be even better on the larger circuit here and gets to stay in the same grade. He only has to carry an extra 2 kilos and can double the dose. COUNTER (13) is another Waller runner who has improved since making the move to Queensland and he broke through for an overdue maiden win on the same day as the top pick last time out. He cops a rough draw this time but has the scope to go right on with the job now. COUP DE TONNERRE (7) finished fourth as favourite in the same race as the top pick last start and will be better for having his first start over a middle-distance this prep. He benefits from a 3-kilo claim this time and even from a wide gate, he can turn the tables. SPEAK NOW (6) has been racing well in 4 starts since leaving a Sydney stable and should be right in the finish again. Each-way.

RACE 7 - IMPENDOR (5) followed up his tough maiden win at Murwillumbah with a good effort for fourth at Doomben 3 weeks ago. He is ready now for 1400 metres and is perfectly placed in this from the pole position. Hard to beat. SPICY LEGEND (1) won fresh up at Ipswich and his 2 runs since then have also been very good. He did not have much luck when finishing fourth at Doomben last start and with the benefit of a 3-kilo claim, he can make his presence felt. SPIN DOCTOR (2) was put aside after finishing fifth in his only run this year. That effort was in a stronger field and he should find it a bit easier at this level. He looked forward in condition at a recent trial and can give this a shake, especially if the money comes for him. RIMBAUD (7) has improved since shifting to the Queensland stable of Annabel Neasham after showing promise from her Sydney yard. He was checked twice in the running before finishing second at Doomben 4 weeks ago and is expected to be hard to hold out in this.

RACE 8 - TANNENBURG (2) has needed all of his 3 starts back from a spell in Sydney and has also been a late scratching since his last start sixth at Canterbury a month ago. She has slid back into an easier grade for his Queensland debut and with Michael Rodd in the saddle, he is the one to beat. MOONSHINE RUN (10) caught the eye when arriving in time from near last to get up and score on debut at Dalby. The bigger circuit here will suit him as will the extra furlong. He is a progressive gelding who looks good enough to overcome a wide draw and make his presence felt again. Stick with him. SHY GUY (1) did not fire in the Queensland Derby and his third at Ipswich before that is the guide to use. Include in all combinations and watch for him late. JENNI MOREESE (13) lightly raced filly who was sixth last start over 1350m at Warwick. Gets back out to winning distance and can play a role.
