RACE 1 - ZARKANA (7) improved sharply here second-up when closing strongly into second. Further improvement is anticipated and the inside alley should have Crowther settling her closer. Leading player. LEGACY ROSE (4) showed good early toe last start on the syntho and fought hard to hold off challengers. Strips fitter and will be prominent again from the draw. Chance to stay undefeated over this journey. STOKOMO (3) is ready to make his return after enjoying a successful debut prep. Hasn't been sighted at public work but is from a sharp stable and gets a key jockey booking in Toerorek. Certainly one to consider. TEN COMMANDMENTS (1) never looked likely last start at Caulfield but did make some late inroads. Steps out to a preferred trip, where all of his five wins have come over. Expect him to head back again from the draw and be climbing over their backs late. SHARENDIPITY (6) will improve second-up and is another that is worth considering.

RACE 2 - Tricky race this with a lot of debutants engaged. DUCHESS OF SUSSEX (9) looks well clear of the race bunch and won't have to go to any new heights to be involved in the finish again. VAMORE (7) is a Vadamos gelding from No More Doubt who has produced a G2 winner. Comes out of the strong juvenile stable of R & C Jolly and has stable rider Jake Toeroek sticking from trial. Can make a bright start. STEEL TSUNAMI (17) was firm in the market on debut over the 900m at Murray Bridge but left it too late. Draws wide again. Watch for him launching late. WHINE FOR WINE (14) is Street Boss filly on debut for the Gluyas team. Found the line nicely in her lead-up trial and it would be no surprise to see her making her presence felt. ZOUHOFF (8) and LITTLE PRINCESS (13) have race experience and should be improvers. Next best.

RACE 3 - KOMACHI (4) picked up strongly in the lane here to grab third three weeks ago. Drawn sticky but gets an in-form hoop in Crowther back on who has scored before when partnering. Bold showing is anticipated. MARGIE'S BOY (1) also faltered when going for three straight at the latest but is another worth forgiving. PLATINUM WOLF (2) is building nicely into this prep and should be nearing his peak now third-up. Winning hope. BIT OF A REBEL (5) is yet to strike through this campaign but put the writing on the wall last start. Don't underestimate.

RACE 4 - SMILING ASSASSIN (2) had a few of these measures last start, including Lakes Folly. Carries more weight this time but is well-placed to repeat the dose over a trip he relishes with Crowther sticking. LAKE'S FOLLY (1) doesn't win out of turn but has been knocking on the door. On the quick back-up again. Will drift back from the draw and be charging at the business end. DIXIE WHISTLER (3) was clearly below her best last start behind Smiling Assassin in the Heavy conditions but did have his measure three back. Can bounce back sharply over a track and trip she dominates. EUREKA'S VICTORY (5) was no match for an impressive winner last start but still stuck on gamely into fourth. Holds appeal on the quick back-up. Last start winner SHEARMAN DYER (8) and fast-finishing BELLA KATHLEEN (10) are others that hold some claims.

RACE 5 - BALLON D'OR (9) was an eye-catcher when returning but was only fair second-up after being sent out equal fav. Improvement to come third-up. Will prove tough to hold out if close enough in the lane. HE'S OUR BONNEVAL (2) comes through some good form races back in Vic and is knocking on the door. Not overly frightened by the big weight. KLABEL (4) hasn't taken a step wrong in his last three, well supported in all. Four weeks between runs has him fresh for this tougher assignment. Have to consider. The promising SURPRISE COMING (8) returns for Kylie Shulz. Not sighted at public trials but a bright return is anticipated with Crowther reuniting with an unblemished record.RACE 6 - MORRYL MORAL (3) hasn't been beaten far in all three runs back. Ran a good time at Sandown-Lakeside last start when beating home Fretta by 1.9L, who he would have met a kilo better had it not been for Fretta's scratching. Booking of a senior hoop in Pannell is a good push. Ready and now particularly well suited in this contest after the scratchings of two anticipated main rivals. BONNIE GANGSTER (4) and FLYWAY (9) are some other locals that have claims on best form who come further into calculations after scratchings changed the complexion of the race. Don't overlook.

RACE 7 - ARUGAMAMA (3) warmed to her task nicely over the concluding stages when returning in the G3 Behemoth Stakes three weeks ago. Much better suited over this sort of distance and gets in well at the weights with the 3kg claimer engaged. Bold showing anticipated. BRAVE STAR (6) is ticking along superbly this time in. Shoulders a handy record over this track and trip and reunites with Neindorf who's 1/1 aboard. Sure to be very competitive. SACHEM (13) backed up her monstrous CL2 win with a brave success here last start, downing Brave Star by a head. Hard to stop now that he's found winning form. ANGRY SKIES (2) drove hard to get the verdict last start at Ballarat syntho. Carries more weight but rates highly on best figures and is among the main hopes. Keeping APACHE STAR (11) and AIGUILETTE (9) safe in exotics.

RACE 8 - FALANGHINA (8) went one better last start when getting the job done at Murray Bridge. Form around her reads strong and has in-form hoop Crowther sticking. Can repeat the dose. ON THE SCENT (2) knuckled down strongly in the lane to get close to the winner when returning two weeks ago. Is sure to have come on with that run under the belt and rates a key player. BURNING BRIGHT (14) has been in the market in her last two without causing too much of a threat. Holder back on is a positive and she's rock-hard fit. Don't take lightly. RESERVOIR DOG (4) next best.

RACE 9 - JEAN VALJEAN (7) rattled home to just miss when returning at Murray Bridge off a 301-day break. Not as effective last start when sent out favourite but lugged a big weight. Peaking now and can get the job done. The promising SIR SWAY (4) is ready to make his return after tackling some of the states' best 3YO races in the Autumn. Took out the Listed Redelva Stakes before finishing midfield in the G2 Tobin Bronze. Clearly a promising type but just treading cautiously without being sighted at public trials before tackling the older horses for the first time. Will pay to see what the late money thinks of him. VOLTAGE POINT (13) has struck a purple patch of form with two good wins. Tougher again this time but is worth respecting. WIGGUM (2) also worth considering.
