RACE 1 - LILAC (6) led all the way to defeat a subsequent winner in Embassy when resuming over this distance at Wyong last start. Showed courage when attacked in front that day. Should progress with that run under the belt and prove tough to catch again. RANTAN (7) is first-up after a 130-day spell. Won on debut last prep then wasn't far away in Saturday company at Rosehill at the only other outing. Recent trial winner with definite claims. TITANIUM MISS (8) returns after a successful maiden prep that saw her lead all the way to win emphatically over this distance at Wyong at her last appearance 12 weeks back. Sure to be thereabouts. PRIVATE LIFE (1) last raced when successful in a good form race over 1100m here in May. Keep safe. DECLICHY BOULEVARD (2) won over 1100m here at her last appearance in June. Expecting big things this prep.

RACE 2 - A few of these boast Group One form as two-year-olds. We will go with the race fitness of JAYASHREE (9) who was unwanted in betting on debut last start but charged home to finish second over 1200m at Kembla. Definitely needs this extra trip and will be tough to hold out. TENBURY WELLS (10) wasn't up to black-type company as a juvenile but returned last start with an eye-catching second over this distance at Kembla. Query with him staying at seven furlongs but he is promising and should run well again. MONTE VEEBEE (4) had plenty of luck and it was all bad when resuming over 1100m here recently. Talented colt who was scratched from the first to be saved for this longer assignment. Serious contender. JOHNNY THE KID (5) is fitter for two runs back from a spell. Likely leader who will give them something to catch. MR ARTEMISIA (3) resumes. Opened the maiden prep with three straight placings then finished midfield in the Group One Atkins. Cannot be ruled out.

RACE 3 - Can't rule any of these out. SIR ARTIE (2) was ridden quieter and ran a better race last start when second-up from a spell, beaten 3.4 lengths in a BM78 over 1200m at Randwick. Gets in with a similar weight after the claim despite coming back to a midweek 72. Ideally placed to return to form. THE REPLICANT (5) is racing well but is 11 months without success. Travelled handy all the way when third over 1250m at Canterbury last Wednesday. Placed 8/9 at or around this trip so he is a must for exotics punters. DEPRIVATION (1) led all the way and won with a bit to spare when fresh from a break over 1250m at Newcastle recently. That was his first run under Nathan Doyle and there should be a bit of improvement to come. REBEL SHADOW (7) failed on a heavy track at Doomben last start. Capable performer at this level and is worth another chance. MISTERKIPCHOGE (6) resumes. Will be better over more ground but a sharp return will not surprise.

RACE 4 - Easy to make a case for every runner. WAGGA WAGGA (5) stripped fitter and appreciated the step up in distance when narrowly beaten over 2100m at Sandown last start. UK import who is starting to show some form at his second Australian campaign. In the right hands and has the ability to take care of this line-up. CAMPALDINO (3) resumed from a spell and was having his first run under Waterhouse/Bott since coming from NZ when a respectable fifth over the mile here a fortnight ago. Raced once over this trip across the ditch and got the cash. Likely improver. MCGEEHAN (6) is a one-pacer who whacked away to finish fourth over 2000m at Kembla recently. Saves his best for this track so he cannot be overlooked. FUTTAIM (4) has found 2400m a touch too far at his last couple. Has raced here at 2200m twice and won them both. Serious contender. REALLY SERIOUS (7) is struggling for form but might enjoy this longer journey now.

RACE 5 - BONITA QUEEN (3) was backed off the map and was never in doubt last start against the mares over this course and distance, leading by a big margin early and maintaining the advantage. Goes up 1kgs against the boys but if she reproduces that last effort she should get the cash again. PARTY DOLL (6) closed well but was no match for Headwall over 1000m at the Kensington track last time out. Honest mare who won't mind the extra 100m and is a chance down in the weights. GLOBAL EMPIRE (4) went back from a wide draw and struggled to make an impression at his latest appearance over 1000m at this track. Will race closer from the inside alley and can make his presence felt. TWO YA GOT (1) didn't fire last start when returning from over a year in the paddock. The winner of 3/5 at this trip so worth another chance back in midweek company with the run under the belt. ROMEO'S CHOICE (2) resumes. Goes well fresh and has been in the top three 4/5 at this distance.

RACE 6 - SERENE NIC (5) settled a long way off the leader and couldn't pick up the leeway in heavy going over 1550m at the Kensington track last start. Convincingly won a BM72 against the mares over this course and distance two starts back. Nicely placed to return to winning ways. INFLUENTIAL (3) has been beaten as favourite in his two outings since returning from a two-month let-up, both over today's track and trip. Cherry ripe now and has the talent to take care of this line-up. GOLD PATTERN (6) came from a mile back to win a Midway over 1500m at Rosehill last start. Won't find this as hard so with Nash in the saddle she makes plenty of appeal. BROK CAFE (10) is flying this prep and cannot be ruled out despite a class rise. MALABAR (7) wasn't beaten far in a similar race to this here a fortnight ago. Rock hard fit after three runs back.

RACE 7 - JUST GLAMOUROUS (14) made her first appearance since the Widden Stakes of January 2023 when a game all-the-way winner over 1200m at Newcastle last start. Untapped mare who can take this next step and win again. AELIANA (13) faced the starter for just the second time when a comfortable winner over 1150m at the Kensington track last time out. Found the line with gusto that day so she will be hard to hold out over the extra 150m. MAGNUCAT (10) worked to the lead from a wide gate then faltered late over this distance at Hawkesbury recently. Form prior to that in town was solid so she has the ability to bounce back. Back-marker MANHATTAN'S (11) has impressed in her two runs this campaign, both at Newcastle. One to watch for in the dying stages if they go hard up front. PIPPIE BEACH (5) is back for a second prep after winning two from three in the maiden campaign. Trials have been underwhelming so watch the betting for a guide to her chances.
