RACE 1 - ALEGRON (2) underrated gelding fitter after two runs back after winning the Brisbane Cup last June. Up in trip from the good gate when he ran into trouble all the way up the straight finishing ninth over 2400m in the G1 The Metropolitan at this track two weeks ago. Maps well and will prove hard to hold out if the breaks go his way. ETNA ROSSO (6) lightly raced stayer racing in career-best form. Won the Newcastle Cup two back, before being snagged back from the wide draw when fifth over 2400m in the G1 The Metropolitan here last time out. Can race a little closer here and return to winning form. WYCLIF (7) tough stayer who's raced without luck this time in. Caught the eye late from the wide draw when eighth over 2400m in the G1 The Metropolitan. Maps well from the gate and has the ability to take this out. ATHABASCAN (3) fourth up here and improvement is expected. Held a forward position before tiring when 10th in the Metropolitan last start. This is easier and not to be underestimated.

RACE 2 - DUCASSE (3) smart entire who gets up to his preferred trip today. Won the Carbine here last April on rain affected going and ready to peak. Made up a little ground late out wide when seventh over this track and trip at latest. Maps well and looks hard to hold out. TOO MUCH CAVIAR (9) fourth up for this with a recent trial and drops 10kg in weight. Anchored with the 62kg from the sticky gate when a tiring fifth over 1800m in the Bathurst Cup on September 15. Drawn to stalk the good tempo and can return to winning form. THUNDERLIPS (7) raced without luck all prep and expected to go close here. Came out of a strong rating race when running on late to finish fourth in the Dubbo Cup over 1600m on September 29. I'VE BEAN TRYIN' (6) tough Canberra gelding who won't know himself with the 53kg. Held up in running with the 59kg when an unlucky ninth in the Dubbo Cup at latest. McEvoy rides from the good gate and he looks great each way value.

RACE 3 - WINGS OF DESIRE (1) progressive filly who showed a ton of grit when up in grade to finish fifth in the G2 E Manifold at Flemington over 1600m on October 5. Hard fit now and has the speed to get cover early. Goes close. DOMINETTA (2) returned for her second prep when recording a dominant on pace victory over 1200m at Warwick Farm on September 25. Since fitted with a recent 1050m trial win and will have little trouble tackling this tougher race. SILVER WEDDING (13) is a two-start maiden who chipped away late at first run back when fourth over 1200m at Warwick Farm on September 25. Extra trip suits and can race closer to the speed. Each way. ISLAND DEC (4) undefeated in two runs and stretches out to the 1400m for the first time today. Won both her starts at Kembla over the 1000m in good style and look for her motoring late.

RACE 4 - LEKVARTE (1) classy mare with a sound record over this track and trip. Finished off strongly first up when fourth over 1400m at Rosehill in the G2 Golden Pendant on September 28. Tempo suits and look for her charging late. HINGED (5) sharp drop in class today and finds her race fourth up. Outclassed with the 57kg when seventh to Fangirl over 1600m here in the 7+ Stakes on September 21. Back to mares grade and just needs a bit of luck from the sticky gate. AUSBRED FLIRT (6) underrated mare who strips fitter for this after struggling when 18th over 1600m in the G1 Epsom Handicap here on October 5. Much better than that and looks good value from the draw. QUICKSTER (4) Victorian mare with plenty of upside fitter after one run back. Attacked the line late when third at Caulfield in mares grade over 1400m on September 21. Can stalk the speed and play a leading role.

RACE 5 - FRONT PAGE (3) resumes from a lengthy break after having mixed fortunes in tougher company last time in. Gave them a galloping lesson when leading throughout to take this race out in good style last year. Fitted with the one 900m trial and he has a slick first up record. AT WITZ END (4) tough Lismore trained gelding who finally draws a decent gate. Total forgive first-up from the outside gate when ninth in the LR Weetwood at Toowoomba in the heavy going on September 28. Can stalk the good tempo today and his recent 1000m trial win was full of merit. Keep safe. FAR TOO EASY (2) finished third in the race last year and he resumed in good order with the 61kg when fourth over 1000m at Eagle Farm on September 14. Fitted with a recent trial win at the Gold Coast and expected to go close. BOOM TORQUE (5) consistent gelding who only has to repeat his solid third in the G2 Theo Marks Stakes over 1300m at Rosehill, to play a leading role here. Fitted with a 1050m trial win and sure to go close.

RACE 6 - MAZU (6) tough gelding with an exceptional record over this track and trip. Sat on the speed second up when a narrow second in the G2 Premiere Stakes here over 1200m on October 5. Loves the sting out of the ground and he can go one better today. ARKANSAW KID (9) progressive sprinter rewarded for his consistency when winning the G2 Bobbie Lewis two back, before going under narrowly from the wide gate when second over 1200m in the G2 Gilgai Stakes at Flemington on October 5. Maps well with Blake Shinn aboard and looks good value. SOUTHPORT TYCOON (3) classy entire who was a month between runs when showing a devastating turn of foot to get up late and win the G1 Manikato Stakes at Moonee Valley over this trip on September 27. Will need luck in the run with plenty of traffic in front of him. AIRMAN (4) surprise winner of the Premiere Stakes over this track and trip at the latest. Similar setup again and stays in the mix.

RACE 7 - BELLA NIPOTINA (4) tough mare who gets better with age. Conditions suit and like the way she attacked the line in the Concorde first up and when third over this track and trip in the G2 Premiere Stakes at latest. Craig Williams has a great record on her and she just needs luck early from the draw. GIGA KICK (2) won this race in 2022 and looks set to explode third up. Strong late in the Premiere and has trained on sharply since. Adept in all conditions and will relish the good tempo. JOLIESTAR (8) exciting mare who returned slick sectional times first up when winning the G3 Show County over this track in good style. Disappointed when third over this trip in the G2 Sheraco Stakes at Rosehill and since kept up to the mark with a 1000m tick over trial. J Mac rides and she ticks plenty of boxes from the draw. I AM ME (5) has gone to a new level this prep and is undefeated in two attempts over this track and trip. Maps to get every chance with Rawiller up and stays in the mix.

RACE 8 - OSTRAKA (4) continued where he left off last prep and going quickly through his grades. Chasing his fourth straight win after charging late for a gritty head win over 1200m at this track in BM94 class last start. Drops in weight and can win again despite drawing out. STRETAN ANGEL (12) proven Group 1 performer who stretches out to the 1300m for the first time. Drifted back before returning slick closing splits when third over 1200m in the G2 Gilgai Stakes at Flemington on October 5. Look for her late. VEIGHT (1) total forgive first-up when trapped wide to finish 11th in the G1 Manikato over 1200m at Moonee Valley on September 27. Improver in this contest. WAR MACHINE (10) lightly raced gelding with a ton of upside. First-up after six months sat on the good tempo from the sticky draw when a tenacious second over 1200m at Moonee Valley on September 27. Strips fitter now and he looks one of the leading prospects.

RACE 9 - PRIDE OF JENNI (9) exciting mare at the top of her game now fourth up. Pinched a big break rounding the turn at Moonee Valley when holding on to score a sizzling 1.5 len win in the G2 Feehan over this trip on September 27. Form has been franked with Antino winning last Saturday. Hard to run down again with the fast times she records. FANGIRL (10) won this race last year and back to her brilliant best when swooping late to win the 7+ Stakes over this track and trip at latest. Fitted with a recent 1000m trial and will need to be at her best to win this. CELESTIAL LEGEND (7) proven third up and undefeated over the mile. Gets conditions to suit with the blinkers going on for the first time after warming up late when sixth in the G2 Shannon over 1500m at Rosehill on September 28. Has to go to a new peak to win this. CEOLWULF (6) tough gelding who made a mess of his rivals when winning the G1 Epsom Hcp at this track and trip two weeks back. Goes up another level here and place claims best.

RACE 10 - OVERRIDING (10) stretched out to the mile third up when a tiring eighth over 1600m here in stronger company. Back in trip from the good gate and go on her Newcastle placing two back when assessing her chances. WILLAIDOW (6) tough on pace sprinter holding his form well. Never headed when a comfortable 2 len winner over this distance at Rosehill on September 28. McDonald rides again and jumps 3kg from the sticky gate. BEHTAR (11) interesting French gelding with staying form making his Australian debut. Comes to hand quickly and the like the turn of foot he displayed in two trials. Value player. ESTADIO MESTALLA (4) consistent gelding who motored late from near last on the turn first up when a solid ninth over 1200m here in BM94 grade on October 5. Extra trip suits and he stays in the calculations. The chances don't end there.
