We're racing at Belmont this Saturday where the Provincial Series Final is the feature event on the nine-race card.

As expected, the Provincial Final is a wide open event, with only three horses in single figures at the time of writing.

The current market has the Kalgoorlie and Geraldton heats as the ones to beat, but it's not a simple as the highest-rating heats come to the final and salute.

Horses such as Platinum Shot should get a nice run in transit which will be all important with a big field engaged on Saturday, with the three-year-old also boasting a strong overall record.

It's worth going wide in the Quaddie, with the race likely to inject some price into the final dividend.

As for Best Bets on the card, GODDESS OF GIVING in Race 3 appears the one to beat.

She was superb first-up when hitting the line nicely behind a progressive type and her stats show that she peaks second-up into the campaign.

This does appear a targeted attack by the Lou Luciani stable, as the daughter of Playing God is undefeated over the Belmont 1000m.

While it's a solid race, she ran a rating right up to matching the best of her competitors, and with improvement expected, she can be getting the job done.

Over to Race 6 where I believe MY JIMMY is a value play.

The three-year-old has shown plenty of ability in his six starts to date, and while this is a step up in grade, it appears he will have some loftier targets in his sights through the winter.

He can hold a prominent position from an inside draw, and with copius amounts of upside, he can step up to the plate on Saturday and announce himself as a 3YO contender throughout the winter season.
