Gold Bar, a four-year-old from the Greg Eurell stable, has now raced twice for as many wins and looks quite progressive. She travelled well outside the leader Clemo before challenging that runner at the home turn. She got to a narrow lead at the 100m and gradually drew clear to win by three quarters of a length with the favourite Clemo holding on gamely for a sound second. The promising Kungsleden was midfield and wide with cover, fanned deep at the turn, and ran on nicely for a sound third.
