Two-year-old filly Zambezi Diamond followed her unlucky debut second at Sale a fortnight ago to score here. She raced in fifth place (between runners), got into the clear on turning for home, took the lead on passing the 200m and went on to win, with something in hand, by a length. Miss Insomnia ran on well from midfield to take second, putting up a nice effort at her first start. *ANZ
