Watch Out resumed after fourths at his first two starts with a good win here. He had a good run behind the leader before moving up strongly coming to the home turn. He took the lead at the 200m and lasted to win narrowly but well. The Darley-raced Saker was eighth on the rails to the 400m. He eased across heels on straightening and was giving the leader about five lengths when into the clear at the 200m mark. He then rattled home to just miss in a photo putting up an eye-catching effort on debut. Another first starter Downunder Prince was last on the rails in the 12-horse field to the 400m. He stuck to the inside at the turn and made up good ground for a promising third. *ANZ
