Ragazzo Del Corsa settled nicely in the centre of the track racing close to the leaders, following a moderate early tempo (first 400m 25.18). He put in his bid at the 300m, got to the front at the 200m and then drew away to win in good style by two lengths sprinting home in a smart 33.72 (last 600m). He was a strong win at his second start and he looks to have a good future. The Chris Waller trained filly Helsingor was checked at the start and settled last in the eight-horse field. He put in a strong run passing the 300m, got to fourth at the 100m and continued to make ground for a very good second on debut. She looks suited to further and looks a promising filly. Make Her Own Whey raced in sixth place, just behind the leading group. She improved to third at the 150m and battled on nicely to take the minor placing going well on debut. Godolphin’s colt Landmarks, also racing on debut, led in the centre of the course and held the lead until nearing the 200m, then held on quite well for (4.6 lengths) fourth.
