Fruit Supply Stakes (LR)
Favourite Voodoo Lad, who put up a fantastic effort to win after he completely missed the start and jockey Chris Parnham had little option but to settle equal last. Down the side Voodoo Lad was throwing his head about, still last and giving the leaders about 12 lengths. On the last corner the pair surged forward yet widest into the straight. He bounded up to the leaders at the 150m and then powered away over the last 75m for a very impressive win. Keen Array was midfield, off the fence down the side, then pulled wider around the last corner and had a clear look at the run home where he finished well, but was unable to withstand the flying Voodoo Lad over the last 100m. Sebring Sun was tucked in behind the leaders rounding the last corner, found room three off the rails into the straight and ran on well to hold third.
