Concorde Stakes (G3)
Decision Time was a given a smooth trip, just behind the pace, by Blake Shinn. Clear on straightening, he put in a good surge to gain ascendency at the 100 metres and kept up a bold gallop to win narrowly. The favourite Sessions also received a good trip, off the pace, from barrier seven. Jockey Kerrin McEvoy still appeared confident when asking Sessions to extend at the 200m, but they came up short. Although second last in running, Delago Bolt strode along nicely and in securing third he finished right on the heels of the two ahead. After speeding along in front, I’m All The Talk held a two-length advantage passing the 300m and fought gamely for fourth. Following an economical trip on the rail, Hay List was never really clear to challenge and went to the line held in fifth. *ANZ
