Godolphin’s promising three-year-old colt Sarajevo put up a good effort resuming here. He did not show much early pace and remained back in fifth place in the seven-horse field to the home turn. James McDonald asked him for his effort on straightening, he took a while to wind-up, hit the lead on passing the 200m and went on to win well. He should be improved by the run and will appreciate longer distances. Sworn To Silence was last to the home turn, improved along the rails at the 300m and ran on surprisingly well for a good second. Anyaas was near last in the seven-horse field, she switched wide at the 300m and made good ground for third. Mr Bogart was third on the rails, got an inside run to take a narrow lead at the 200m and then battled on for (4.4 lengths) fourth. Tetsuko was outside the leader to the turn before finishing (6.1 lengths) fifth while Zestful led the field to 300m but then weakened for (9.9 lengths) sixth.
