Once again the same three 3yo fillies that formed the trifecta last week at Listed grade over a mile did so again today at Listed level over 2000m. The battle royal between the top two eventuated again but this week No Tricks beat home Consensus to reverse the order from seven days ago. Once again Belle Miraaj ran third. No Tricks and Consensus were both watching each other or their respective riders were in the running and it may not be the last time they see each other this year. The winning time of 2:04.13 is not bad when you consider the other stakes race on the card for older horses at G3 under WFA conditions clocked 2:04.86 (four lengths inferior). Platinum Command ran an honest fourth and has improved of late while Choice was game considering the footing was not as rain-affected as she likes and needs. Epineaux was a big flop beating just two home. The first three home are fillies with a future as they all can stay plus are competent at the mile but also can handle a wide range of track conditions.
