Expert form analyst Mark Hunter has taken a look at the Magic Millions Vic 3YO & 4YO Classic.

Hunter has one horse on top for the $175,000 race and it's the favourite Stay Focused.

“I like Stay Focused,” Hunter told SENTrack & RSN’s Giddy Up.

“I liked it last week at Pakenham and listening to Phillip Stokes’ interview on race day morning, I was quite disturbed for him to say it will run well but it will be absolutely spot on next start.

“And that’s how it ran – it just missed third somehow in a photo.

“Here, there’s not much speed – Gin A Tonic leads from (barrier) 3, I think Stay Focused rolls across, should be able to park outside it.

“I would think Stay Focused goes forward, sits on Gin A Tonic, controls the race and then from the 300m, backs itself to run a stronger 1200m.

“So, I think the race sets up absolutely beautifully for Stay Focused to win.”
