NEWCASTLE
Race 1 | 6. Bifurcation
Has trailed up really nicely after mixed results in first prep! Debut was a tougher race and she ran well and then no luck when wide no cover before being tipped out. Drawn really nicely to go forward and control the race. 3kg claim is a real bonus and I like her resuming over 900 rather than the fave dropping back even though he has fitness on his side bujt I think freshness is key over the short trip!
Race 2 | 8. Scoop The Pool
This bloke started favourite In a race last prep where Attica won! Now he clearly is a few levels below that (probably more than a few) but it does suggest the talent he has. Blinkers on today and needs a little luck early from tricky gate but no major speed inside helps. He was good resuming and the fitness second up to the 1600 is a positive here. This is a nice race and I have a couple in the quaddie but I like this bloke and expect him to be very hard to beat!
Race 5 | 8. Killer Kerr (each-way)
Was ok resuming when back in a race won by the leader! Clearly looking for 1400 and normally runs well 2nd up! There is plenty of speed (Duck Cover / Bold Brazen among others) so KK will get a chance to run on! A little rain wouldn't hurt and any toe in the ground is an advantage. She will get back so track has to allow run on but she is most certainly over the odds at $16 and a nice each way play!
WAGGA
Race 2 | 1. Blocker
This race isn't dripping in cream and I think this horse finds his race. Had it's chance last start but stays at the 1000 which helps. Can be perfectly poised from that gate and I think the good track is a positive for this bloke! He will be fitter for it and the race experience is what I like compared to the debutants. Boogie was ordinary last start in a tougher race in Vic and I have had to include him in the EQ as I can see him improving but not enough to beat Blocker.
Race 4 | 7. Ring Of Fire
Might have been ridden a little conservative last start when at the mile for the 1st time but he was goof through the line! I think he will be a little more prominent in the run and that suits him. Added fitness and ready to enjoy a trip he should. Little rain wouldn’t hurt him but the good track wont beat him! I like him better than the fave due to the speed map! Will take a mountain of beating!
BEAUDESERT
Race 1 | 5. Come On Mr Snips
Didn’t have a huge amount of luck last start but kept working to the line making me think the step up to 1650 is a plus! He is well weighted dropping 2.5 here and I think its easier. Soft track first try will be a watch but I think he'll handle it. Gate is a smidge tricky but Larson knows the horse and as long as he gets cover he will be fine. He us overs at $9 and a nice each way play!
Race 3 | 4. Maybe
Finds a very winnable race third up after running well in slightly tougher races. Stays at the 1200 3rd up, so should try and inch forward like last start. Toe into the ground is a positive for sure. The claim is a big positive and she has been placed really well here! Her last 50m was the challenge last time but peaking now, it shouldn’t be an issue. Huge chance!

NEWCASTLE
Race 4 | 1. Fierce
$2.60 is a sharp galloper and got too far back last start, he is better suited to this race and can win.
WAGGA
Race 4 | 6. Dunna Runna
Bit plain last start but can be better here.
BEAUDESERT
Race 5 | 7. Giddy Gan's Joy
$2.60 is a sharp galloper and got too far back last start, he is better suited to this race and can win.
CAIRNS
Race 3 | 5. Essay Wine
$3.80 Made good improvement from first up to second up and will have tightened from that last run, all the best punters!
