By SENTrack

Cam Luke & Mick Gannon have your Friday sorted on Trackside.

They have taken a close look at Geelong, Mount Gambier, Canberra, Kilcoy & Inverell in a bid to find the family some winners.

See their best bets below:👇

Cam Luke

GEELONG

Race 3 | 6. King Maywin

A little sunshine a drier track would help a little but no Heavy is the big win. His from around Storm Leopard and the previous prep Engine of War is good enough for this. I like the 1300 kick off point and he enjoys Geelong. On The Loose and Florence will ensure some speed so it should allow ZS to slot in the run but the 1300m start gives you time. Any upgrade would see money for him but even on the soft he will run well after two decent trials.

Race 4 | 10. Pari Moi

Jye McNeil is riding really well right now and expect from that gate he will go and control this race very easily! She is a lightly raced mare but I feel getting up in trip is best for her! Got beaten by a really nice one last start and there is no horse that classy here! Won’t feel a huge amount of pressure up front and think can use that to pinch a winning gap and be hard to run down. Fave does like to go forward but doubt it will from that gate. Include in quaddie but I'm with PM.

Race 6 | 6. Le Troisir

This is actually a decent staying race for a Friday with a number that wouldn't surprise. I am with this bloke though who is coming out of the right from races. Been right there both in front and behind Houdini who is in the market tomorrow. It's run at Bendigo was great beating home So Suave who won Wednesday. Was strong though he line making me think the 2400 will work nicely. Will take the medicine and drift back from the gate but with some cover will be able to build momentum when needed. Chocolate Royal the main danger. Comes out of stakes races and was decent, drawn lovely with the claim and will be the one LT has to catch but I think he will!

Race 8 | 8. Hook 'N' Spur

Little Q over 1400 but his only try was in a tougher race on a Heavy track which I doubt suits. Won’t do any work today from the gate and there is speed but he wont go around a horse. He will be 3 pairs back so will need some luck at some point. If he gets it, he will be hard to hold out late. Stable is flying and im backing them to know he runs a strong 7 furlongs.

CANBERRA

Race 4 | 10. Modernist

Got backed and then was disappointing in GC debut. Tipped out and then trialled well and fronts up today in a decent race but a smidge easier than that run. Syntho also a little Q but I do expect improvement and based on expectations and the fact the stable is flying, I'd say we will see a much different horse today.

Race 7 | 3. Teylu

Didn’t handle the tougher race last start but back on the Syntho where has handled before and back to the 1000 works. Jump lead and go! Sutton 3rd up is ready to peak but no good on the Synth last time and Benz drawn awkwardly. Teylu for me should be able to bounce back in a race that's his level.

INVERELL

Race 4 | 1. Kaihoko

Has been running in much tougher races than this and last time in similar company he got too far back! Drawn relatively nicely today to get cover Gets up in trip which he was looking or before EF and I see that now more as a trial! Handles the soft and good jockey on board! Full Regalia will be hard to beat as well but I think Kaihoko will have the class to win over tis trip for the first time.

Race 5 | 5. Mammoth Mountain

I backed him last start when he was back in trip and he was very slow early and dour. Back to the 1800 from inside draw works today. Quicker turnaround and on the soft deck works. He can mix his from but he is rock hard fit and with the 3kg claim he has a great set up today to back to his best form.

Race 6 | 3. Enniroc

Didn’t fire a shot at Gosford but the race is way tougher than this and looks like a nice form race. He is a horse who needs things to go his way but from that gate there will be no excise to get cover and into a groove. Soft track zero issue and neither is the trip. Might try and sneak over and get the back of the fave (whose only bad run was on a soft track) In saying that, I do have Under The Collar in my quaddie but I think Enniroc will handle the track better!

Mick Gannon

GEELONG

Race 6 | 14. Milady

Ran the fastest last 200m of the meeting, off a fast tempo over 2016m and profiles to relish a rise in trip. Draws for a soft run in transit and should relish the 2400m.

CANBERRA

Race 5 | 3. Hold My Drink

Two horse race, going with value and it’ll be handle bars down for Coriah Keatings. Fourth up at peak fitness with the winkers going on, he’ll give a sight.

INVERELL

Race 3 | 13. Satin And Cash

I think he finds his race today. He was just ok last start but was slightly tougher and he didn’t have a huge amount of luck than this but I think the 1300m is a little better as well. Drawn really nicely and it worries me early with his gate speed but id love to see him box seat. The good track is a win as well and with a little luck this time , he will be mighty hard to beat!
