Cam Luke & David Taggart have your Saturday sorted on Trackside.

The lads have taken a close look at Sandown & Randwick in a bid to find the family some winners.

See their best bets below:👇

Cam Luke

SANDOWN

Race 5 | 2. Incognito

This bloke burst onto the scene and then had a pretty ordinary autumn but he ran in the best races and was on the back of The Next Episode before spelling so maybe I am being harsh. I will say that judging by the fact there's been about 28 gear changes I'm assuming they've worked out what improvements could be made. He is trialled up really well and the wide gate doesn't matter from the chute at Sandown; will allow him to angle in and go bang. I think he might be back to his best and if he is, they won't see him here!!

Race 6 | 11. Set Me Loose

She is the progressive girl here and I think being allowed in her own space and groove might be her go. Not sure she loved being crowded from inside draw last start so the wide gate might help her. Her Seymour win in easier class was really impressive and the race has held up with winners emerging since. Saluted and Miss Coto will go quickly but expect SML to be prominent in the run. Open race with a few in the early quaddie but her improvement with the little freshen up and a nice jumpouts in between runs will have her primed for a stable that is flying.

Race 9 | 7. Mukhtalif

Was great in Aussie debut and then flopped. Forget that run and I love imports into their second Aussie prep. 1600 is too short and he will no doubt enjoy further but he is classy as hell. A drying track would be even better if the rain stays away. He will enjoy Sandown and Ben Allen rode him perfectly in their only combo. He has trialled up well and will only get better but he is the horse I want to be on at around $5, I think it’s a good price to find out.

RANDWICK

Race 3 | 13. Seo Linn (each-way / top 7)

This horse is just way over the odds in a race that's fairly open. Now, admittedly her form doesn't look good on paper, but there's an excuse or two thrown in there in her last start and she finally gets to a trip that is most certainly more to her liking. She loves the soft track, she runs well third up, she carries no weight and she is nicely drawn for a nice run in transit. She is an each-way play or even back her to run top seven which is around $4. She will certainly beat a few home at a minimum.

Race 4 | 1. King Of The Sea

I simply think this horse is just better than anyone else in this field. I backed him in his last two starts, one of which he got a long way back but still ran well. He is too short to back so I only have him in the early quaddie (one out) but he is classier than these. Jmac goes on and expect him even from a tricky gate to try and ride him a little proactively and with the lengthy run to the turn he should be able to find a spot easily enough. He has got Caulfield Cup campaign all over him and if the stable believes he can measure up, I think his class will girt him home in a race that is still short of his best.

Race 5 | 5. Boniface

No use in pretending this horse should have won last start and today gets an even better setup as we see it at 2000m for the first time. Tommy Berry goes on and he is perfectly drawn. He loves getting a toe into the ground and there is no doubt that this is his grand final. I backed him yesterday and got a bit of a better price on the Sportsbet Feed and his rock bottom odds right now but he will win.

Race 7 | 7. Global Goal (each-way)

This is a really good fillies race with a number of chances but this girl was so good on debut I expect it to be progressively better into her second preparation. Her debut win was soft albeit much easier than this but the 1200 kick off point after two really nice trials is a big plus. Gets a little weight advantage over the more exposed horses in the race and is drawn really well to get a good speed map. I've got a few in the quaddie (Bangkok Hottie will be very hard to beat) but this girl is over the odds and worth a little each-way play.

Race 8 | 8. Campione D'Italia

There are a million reasons not to back him. Set for later, soft trials, will get back ect ect. What I will say is that I agree with all of that but he might simply be much better than a field that is decent but not world beating. I think it's nice placement to have him against the older horses where he gets some weight off. If he takes the next step that many expect (myself included) he should be going very close here! If he doesn’t win Matcha Latte will. Always runs well first up, enjoys the soft and has trialled up well and will be drawn nicely to go control it. Never been over 1200 which is amazing but will take some catching. They are my only two in the quaddie.

Race 10 | 9. Snack Bar (each-way)

This bloke has been a little bit frustrating for punters and connections but in a very open race against many of the same horses he's just quite simply over the odds. I like him back a little bit in trip to the 1200, the soft track is always great for this bloke and from that gate the superstar jockey can allow the abundance of speed to go into the race early. The horse is rock hard fit and as I said I understand he's had some chances but I think he's a great each way play.

David Taggart

SANDOWN

Race 2 | 5. Cruiserweight

Went back to the trials after his poor run last start as an odds on pop. Was ridden up on speed and never finished off but was still disappointing. This looks a tad easier and he deserves another chance to make up for it.

Race 3 | 9. Think Giant

Hits this third up in his first Australian prep. Made up good ground last start and he should only get better over this trip where he wasn’t disgraced in a G1 in France. No weight, draws pole and is going to be hard to beat.

Race 7 | 1. Hedged

Resumes and he always races well fresh. Ran second to Jigsaw first up last prep which put the writing on the wall as he nearly took out the Oakleigh Plate later on in the prep. Trials have been good and he is going to be hard to beat.

RANDWICK

Race 5 | 5. Boniface

Was a tragedy beat last start as he couldn’t obtain a run. Steps up to this trip for the first time which won’t be a problem and he should make amends for last start.

Race 10 | 7. Call Me Gorgeous

Ran through the line first up catching the eye in what was a harder race to this. Draws bad again and will have no option but to get back but will get home hard and can win. Second up form is good and conditions suit.
