New Zealand form analyst Jayne Ivil has given her best bets for racing in NZ this Wednesday.

Race 2 - Rating 65 Fillies & Mares 1200m

2 – 1 – 4 - 6

Steezy was last sighted when running 5th in the Listed Gore Guineas, put aside to spell, she returns on Wednesday over 1200m. She has trailed well leading into her fresh up assignment, travelling to the line comfortable with plenty left in hand. From barrier 1, she should be able to utilise the inside draw and secure a prominent position in running. Ayumi has a good record on the Synthetic surface and since picking her maiden up on the track three starts back she has acquitted herself well in this grade.

Race 3 - Maiden 1600m

4 – 6 – 1 – 5

Cocomora trialled smartly prior to her fresh up run over 1400m at the track last Thursday where she started a short-priced favourite. The mare got back from a wide draw and took a couple of furlongs to settle, she was set alight early and finished 4th, 2 lengths form the winner. A quick back up, step up in trip and inside barrier should all aid in an improved run. Zambrosia is having her first start in the South Island after racing well in the North last preparation. Her trial was only fair but respecting the stable, her market price and the step down in class she faces here.

Race 4 - Maiden 1400m

1 – 3 – 2 – 4

Call To Arms comes into this run 3rd up and has improved with each run this preparation. He was brave holding onto second last start after failing to settle outside the leader. An apprentice claim means he will carry less weight than his key rivals, he looks the one to beat but his racing manners have let him down in the past so he will need to put it all together here. Vienna Game has the addition of visor blinkers and looks to be the key horse from a map perspective. Chino’s Boy trial looked good and he may be the surprise here fresh up.
