BET OF THE DAY (Melbourne)

CAULFIELD - Race 6 No,10 - BRIDAL WALTZ - No answer winner fresh but beat rest (and G1 winner War Machine) clearly. Went down swinging in G1 Sangster at 1200m before break beating home Point Barrow and meets her 4kg better this time.

BET OF THE DAY (Sydney)

RANDWICK - Race 2 No. 2 - BARRENGARRY - Back/ Wide and zoomed over them anyway in excellent return win. Dominant maiden win 2nd-up last prep. Mile suits even better here too. Up to 60.5kg but top pick.

VALUE BET OF THE DAY

CAULFIELD - Race 9 No.13 - REGAL AWARD - Resumes. Is a huge talent and two trial wins exceptional. Wide and far too good for Skyhook in Fred Best then struck very wet in Stradbroke. Can do things wrong but fancy measures right up and the value near double-figure odds?

1 - 13 - REGAL AWARD - Resumes. Is a huge talent and two trial wins exceptional. Wide and far too good for Skyhook in Fred Best then struck very wet in Stradbroke. Can do things wrong but fancy measures right up and the value near double-figure odds?

2 - 6 - LADY SHENANDOAH - Held her ground fresh behind two superstars in fast time and she flies 2nd-up. 1.1L off Joliestar 2nd-up last prep. She can win this.

3 - 5 - ANGEL CAPITAL - Good return behind Ninja in slick ties then too wet in G1 Memsie plus had track bias against him. Luckless / Very good this race last year.

4 - 3 - SEPALS - Resumes. Rode fearsome speed, took off early and (somehow) still won this race last year.. He was outstanding! Since then has chased Autumn Glow in an Eagle and run enormous in G1 Stradbroke. First trial good, latest? Goes in everything for mine.

5 - 2 - EVAPORATE - Simply too good 2nd-up off that very good fresh run when worked first half of the race. Has that Sepals/ Autumn Glow form and he’s in the game here.

6 - 1 - TOM KITTEN - Not easy 59kg but he is the class… Pattern??
