Bjorn Baker-trained mare Selita has now won two of her three starts this preparation. She was smartly away from her wide barrier (8) went straight to the front, was then pressured and eased to race in third place on the rails. She moved up well again nearing the home turn, took the lead at the 200m and then went on to score comfortably, in a really promising effort. Chris Waller-trained filly Pioneering was back in eighth place to the home turn and ran on in good style for second.
