Consistent filly Jurasound was quickly away and then eased to get a good trip in fourth place, one out and one back. She moved up rounding the home turn, hit the front at the 100m and then drew clear to win by a length and a half. Brouhaha raced in third place on the rails from his inside barrier (1). He was under pressure at the home turn but kept battling on well in the straight for (1.5 lengths) second, going quite well resuming here, racing in a manner to suggest he will appreciate longer. The short-priced favourite Berisha was back in seventh place and wide. He was under riding from the 600m and looked well beaten at the home turn before rallying late for (3.2 lengths) seventh.
