The Brendan McCarthy-trained filly Blondie was a very smart winner here, racing on debut. She was smartly away but had to work in the early stages from barrier seven before finding the lead. She then settled nicely, grabbed a break on turning for home and then went on to score impressively despite her early efforts. She looks a very promising filly
