Another week rolls on by and don’t they feel like they get faster and faster. Racing returns to the creek for another card of greyhound perfection and there are 11 winners to be found.

An 11 race card, the first commences at 6:40pm with the last, race 11 at 10:22 or 22:22 for those that love a 24 hour time! Racing of all qualities and distances will be run and won and I’m itching to see it all unfold.

R6 N6 ICY EYES

One of Queenslands finest greyhounds and hasn’t exactly had large amounts of luck at Albion Park since resuming. Was a good second last start at Ipswich behind a classy type and expect that run to put her in good shape for this race tonight. Has speed directly inside and provides a cart into the first bend, moderate beginner drawn outside so their shouldn’t be any pressure. Has a great record 2 wins and 1 minor placing from 4 starts off box 6. Big show!

R9 N2 SEAWAY FLYER

Classy type who is drawn ideally tonight. Yes he likes to shift up the track but doesn’t have any issues with taking the rails when it’s available. Has a mad railer in 1 and mid track types in 3 & 4. Should settle close to the speed and if close lookout as he is super strong. Five starts ago ran a super 2nd behind SPEED ZONE who would be $1.50 in this field.

R10 N1 COBBLEPOT

Speedy beginner who is drawn cherry ripe to win. Has blistering box speed and the past two runs over this track and trip have been positive without winning. Needs to lead to win, should lead and the improvement of three lengths from the last two starts show he’s still improving run by run. Expect a 30.10 run if untouched but will tend to fold up late so don’t get too cocky if we are in front. Keen!

VALUE BET

R7 N8 TARAWI LEE

Huge overs in what is a winnable race with pace early. Speed in 2,4,5 & 6 is no issue as the 5 carves across and will leave plenty of room for us to burn out wide. Has gone 5.48 or quicker to the first split in her past four starts and expect her to lead this. Has been in very good form against great opposition and this is a winnable type of race. Each way play!
