I think we could all agree by now that this is our favourite time of the week!! Thursdays at the Creek! It's been a wonderful track to find winners, assess racing and watch great canine action. Tonight we are blessed with 12 races, the first to step at 6:41pm and the last, race 12 at 10:36pm. We have racing over 520, 600 & 710 metres. i think it's a terrific card to punt into with great maps, speed and odds on offer. Let's get into them!

R1 N1 HARA'S HARPER

Really keen here tonight in what seems to be her race to lose. Ideally drawn with the 2 shifting up the track early holding off the wider brigade. Minimal speed in the field to cause us road blocks early I believe she settles close to leaders back with a clear go at the rails. Was good two starts back running 30.06 and can see a sub 30 run here tonight.

R2 N1 FIRST PICKED

So well drawn after a run of poor draws. Holds a terrific record off boxes 1 & 2, especially box 1 where she strikes at 40% win. Was a great run last time out when held off the rails and shuffled back still running 42.03. Gets cover tonight from the kennel mate in 3 FAST MILKMAN who uses a bit of the track. Very keen at $2.50!

R11 N1 COMICAL CYNDIE

It may seem I’ve fallen in love with box ones tonight but this is another one who maps to perfection. Luckless her past three off ordinary draws in 7,8 & 5 and has a great record off the cherry with 5 wins and 4 minors from 11 attempts. Gets cover from the wide running 2 TIKI BAR and we possess great speed to lead. $2.15 out from $1.85 and love the price!

R4 N8 DAYSEAS ROWDY

Big odds and hard to know why besides drawing box 8. Impressive his last 3 with two runs around the 30.30 mark and it doesn’t seem a strong race. Gets a lovely cart across from the speedy railer in box seven and expect trouble inside in boxes 1-3. Each way play!

R5 N2 NANGAR ROCKET

Fast dog who’s drawn to feature! Speed in box one who tows us into the first turn, minimal speed in three and a mid track runner in four all make for a lovely run early. The red, KAHLO HAYZE can’t run out a strong 600m and will tire late, allowing us to reel him in as we run mid track and won’t have issues peeling off sub 35 seconds. $4.40 is ludicrous and will step $3.20 or shorter.
