Winning form is good form and has won 5 on the bounce now, two of the past three in sub 42 seconds. Goes super off the wide draws only missing a place once from boxes 6-8 and begins clean. Expect him to lead with no speed inside besides the 7, the main danger is the 4. Hard to beat again.

R9 N1 DAYSEA’S CHIEF

Best bet of the night and not hard to see why. Drawn superb where he holds a great record from inside boxes, is one win and one minor from two starts off the cherry and good form on boxes 2 & 3 also. Three and four runs back was enormous off poor draws so tonight will be the real tester to see how good he’s going. Keen!

A favourite of mine who is drawn ideal. Has 7 wins and 1 minor placings from 15 starts off box two and runs out a very strong 520m. Placed in three of his last five starts including an impressive win in Darwin. Maps really well with a pacey wide runner in 3 who can hold up the favourite and decent beginner who likes the fence in box 1. Expect a bold showing!
