VALPOL I tell ya what I’m excited for tonight’s card of racing and the headline FFA over the 710m. Two of the staying big guns go head to head again after last week up and coming stayer RED DIRT ROAD was defeated for the 2nd time in his past 10 starts and proven superstar VALPOLICELLA disappointed in 4th. They stand side by side at box rise in race three on the program.

An 11 race card commences at 6:43pm with a novice 520m event and the last race is scheduled at 10:21pm. A good card of hounds where eleven winners are to be found.

R4 N2 SARAH’S GOLD

In form type who gets a draw down near the fence which is absolutely ideal and has terrific early speed to set the race up. Sizzled in 5.46 30.07 four starts back off box 1 and a repeat of that is really hard to beat. Has 10 wins and 4 minor placings off boxes one and two from 16 starts so stats say is an inside box bandit. Gets cover early from the 3 who pushes wide but does possess some pace to hold off the wider division. Jump, lead and hopefully win is the goal.

R10 N3 PLUM TUCKERED

Monster run last time out coming from the clouds to win and has the ability to lead this race. Minimal speed in the field and has drawn well down near the rails. Owns some scary statistics at the track, winning over 33% of her starts (10 from 29) and has a 41% win strike rate off boxes 1-3. Despite only winning 1 of her past 10 this is a winnable race and gorgeous map!

R3 N2 SHINE A LIGHT

Rissoled the two stars last start and firmly believe he can back it up this week. Drawn ideal in box 2, gets cover early from Red Dirt Road (4) as he likes to push wide and run mid track, minimal speed from outside to challenge us early, of course that’s if we step. Ran good time in the last win, 42.01 and think a repeat wins this. Each way all day at the price.
