Rising star Cooper Bai has reportedly re-signed with the Gold Coast Titans, capping off a highly successful week for the club, per SENQ Sportsday.

Bai has signed a two-year extension with the Titans, ending speculation about where the 19-year-old would end up.

The Queensland under-19s forward was in high demand, backflipping on a deal with the Melbourne Storm to remain with the Titans.

His decision to remain with the Gold Coast continues a highly successful week for the club after captain Tino Fa'asuamaleaui committed to the club until the end of 2030.

He is the fourth high-profile Titan to re-sign this off-season after the arrival of Josh Hannay and Scott Sattler, following Fa'asuamaleaui, Jayden Campbell, and Beau Fermor.

Cooper by re-signed with the Gold Coast Titans for 22, extended for 2 more years, so he's 3 more years at the Gold Coast Titans.

Titans' legend Mat Rogers believes the signing is of critical importance for the Titans.

"That is huge, great news for the Titans," Rogers said on SENQ Sportsday.

"You settle your middle forwards, you've got a spine there that once they get that right, things are moving in the right direction for the Gold Coast Titans off the field.

"They've got to get right on it, but off the field, things are moving in the right direction."

SEN's Matty Johns revealed the influence Fa'asuamaleaui's commitment to the club made over Bai's final decision.

"For (Bai), the moment Tino signed on, I was very, very confident that this player was going to sign," Johns told SEN 1170 Drive.

"He's got a huge influence on the young players up there. (He's a) great leader.

"There's a squad forming there. As I said, the boulder's rolling boys."
