Cam Luke & David Taggart have your Saturday sorted on Trackside.

The lads have taken a close look at Caulfield & Randwick in a bid to find the family some winners.

See their best bets below:👇

Cam Luke

RANDWICK

Race 1 | 5. Stitzer

Was ok on debut in a decent race. He got back that day due to the gate but wouldn’t stun me if he sat a smidge closer today. He is a big raw bloke who clearly needs further and I think the 1600 works well here. Race day experience is an added bonus and he looks a nice type who can run well today in a race where there are a few chances.

Race 3 | 1. Medicinal

Little Q over the 1200 but we won't know until the end and her form has been really good! Form franked out of Ballarat win and did everything asked of at Flemington last start. Has had a little trial hit out since (at Randwick) and will take a seat off the speed set by the favourite. I think she is the classiest girl in the race and if 1200 doesn’t pull her up, she will win!

Race 5 | 4. Soverato (each-way)

Been on her for a bit as my futures play but will need to improve a little today but I think she can for a number of reasons! This looks like a real slowly run Oaks. I can't find too much speed and that suits her turn of foot. She did grind away last week into 2nd when trucked into the race and looked the winner, off a slower tempo she will have run of the race from that gate. Good track suits her better as well. Open race with a stack of chances but this girl has been my bet for 6 weeks now, and she will run well!

Race 6 | 10. Caffe Florian (each-way)

This is way harder than anything before, but she is ready to peak 3rd up and is tracking in a very positive way. She is drawn perfectly and will have the run of the race! 1200 is perfect and the firmer track the better! Tempted back to 1200 deserves to be the favourite and she will take a mountain of beating and I want to like Grafterburners but his prep has been way too scattered but what I am sure of is that CF will run well and at odds is a really nice e/w play!

Race 7 | 4. Soul of Spain

Forget last start, this bloke’s campaign has been set for one race and it's today! He gets the good track he didn’t get last start and that’s why the struggled. He will flop out the back and TB will smoke the pipe while there is a speed battle early. I think this will be a very fast run 2 mile and he won't do anything early. I have backed him for a while now and with no rain, I am very confident he will run very well today!!

Race 8 | 8. Idle Flyer

This race is dominated by POJ chat but this girl I think is ready to peak and run a huge race. She is peaking for this and will stalk the speed of POJ and TTM. The good track is perfect for her and gets to the mile 3rd up which is her jam. She has been a tier below the big 3 until today and she gets her chance. Couple Q's on the stars. POJ is the only horse who could have a hard 2000m run and back it up today and win a G1 but still a worry but is in the quaddie. TTM where is she at? But has map of the race! In the quaddie. LS - don't trust her at a strong 1600, not in quaddie.

Race 9 | 7. Autumn Glow (win), 2. Sir Delius (2nd) Exacta

AG is the best horse in the country (Sheeza Alibi close 2nd) and not a worry in the world for the 2000. Blows my mind that its being questioned. She will win the race! Sir Delius is a very good 2000m WFA horse and will chase her home hard. Last spring he went 1600/1800/2000 when winning the best races, this time straight to 2000 after 1600. That means he will be a lot better today and will sit closer to the speed. This is his GF and will run enormous but run 2nd. Take the exacta and enjoy the magic of an absolute freak in Autumn Glow.

Race 10 | 6. Flying For Fun

She is flying (pun intended). Has come back really well and thrown a little trial in as well where she was good! ZL is going to need to be proactive but cover is essential and I think he will have a better run in it than the favourite who is drawn outside him. ZL knows her so well and the good track is delish for her. Little Q over the 1200 but been in tougher than this (and heavy in the G1), she is more mature now and will tick that box and win this race!!

CAULFIELD

Race 7 | 4. Amazake

Needed luck 2 key times last start and wins a tougher race than this! The speed will be on today which this bloke will appreciate as he likes to get into a groove like most stayers. I'd assume he is heading to SA for the Derby (and will run well) in a couple of weeks. Good track is to his liking and 3rd up means he is getting fitter. As long as he gets cover, he will belt them today!

David Taggart

RANDWICK

Race 2 | 4. Regal Award

Is a much better horse second-up and with that run already in Sydney it puts him in good stead for this. He’s a much better galloper if he can have his own way in front.

CAULFIELD

Race 2 | 4. Epimeles

Hasn’t raced for 18 months but does have ability. Won both his recent trials looking like he hasn’t lost anything and is a huge watch in this.

Race 3 | 6. Gin Twist (best)

Looks the best horse in the race. Over-raced and was a beaten fav last start being a month between runs. She should race more attractively here and be hard to beat.

Race 5 | 2. Butternut Princess

Won’t know herself dropping back into this grade. Handled herself nicely in group racing where things went against her. Does drop back from the mile but she draws perfect and gets a huge claim. Just hope they haven’t gone to the well one too many times this prep.

Race 6 | 1. Lady Jones (value)

Resumes and her first trial was good beating home Giga Kick. There is no pace in this race and she could easily control it and get away with it at any old odds. Worth a throw at the stumps given how the race will be run.
