We back! Racing returns to the Q2 parklands for another great night of racing. Clearly all eyes will be on Cannington for the slot race ‘The Sandgroper’ but that doesn’t stop racing in Queensland showcasing 9 of the best with a range of class animals.

The first race begins at 6:42pm and the last, race nine pencilled for 9:41pm. Racing over the 520, 600 & 710m as per usual and all the action, analysis, tips and banter can be caught on SEN TRACK from 6-10pm.

R1 N7 ELLIDY

Absolutely no luck last week when bombing the start and the race was over after the first 30 metres. Believe this dog is one who needs extra time in the boxes to settle and does seem to step better off an odd box draw. Start prior to last was great and is drawn to ping and lead again. No speed in the race and sets the pace!

R2 N8 STARFIRE TEARS

Swore to myself I’d never make a stayer a best bet again but this one is different. I HOPE! Feel STARFIRE is a wide draw dog who doesn’t like being held on the rail and can’t tolerate pressure. Small field is ideal, shouldn’t get too far back and speed runners in 2 and 4 should gas one another. Give us strength!!

R6 N3 GORDON KEEPING

From a quality kennel who have dominated at Q2 since its opening and this dog is beating the door down for a win. Moderate beginner who settles midfield and rockets home. Draws favourably down low and expect to settle closer here than normal. Believe the second favourite is no chance and taking up too much of the market.

Statistics say ten starts at the track for duck eggs means we’re zero chance but placing in half our races here at track and trip is a plus. Map is a tick with mad railer in 4 who carves up the inside brigade. Last start was good running second and can show early zip. Will be there for a long way!
