Racing returns to the Q2 Parklands and boy it looks like a really good betting card. An earlier start and twelve race card are slight tweaks to the recents months programming and we love both changes. The first is scheduled for 6:41pm and the last, race twelve is at 10:39pm barring any delays. Races tonight are over 520, 600 & 710m so a variety to pick from. Returned to form at Grafton with two impressive wins and believe being back at Q2 is a big positive. Has a good PB here and the track suits. No speed in this, expect to lead or be close to it and hum down the back. High speed type who chases through a brick wall. Keen as!

As big a run as you’ll ever see last week and strikes the same field. You’d think, beats this lot last week should be favourite. Nope! Can’t believe we’re seeing $4.20! Expect a lovely run off a wide draw where he has good form and a beautiful cart in with pace underneath. Nothing more to say!

R10 N1 IDEA’S GIRL

Drawn to win! Career stats are elite and 1 start at the Q2 for unplaced, that unplaced broke 30 seconds and was enormous in defeat. Box 1 record is stellar winning 5 races from 9 starts. My lock of the night.

In solid form and shows enough early speed to settle forward. Wide runner outside is handy so we should get a nice clean run to the first turn. Speed in 2 is ok as should tow us in and give something to run down. Placed in over 50% of starts and expect to be supported from $5.50 price.

R6 N5 GORDON KEEPING

Moderate beginner at best but I believe that’s the biggest advantage here. This race has wide runners in 1 & 3, the 4 has some pace but won’t cross the inside lot, expect a huge hole of space for the 5 to work with and scrape the paint. Last run massive off a wide draw and huge show in this!
