Simpson and Whateley’s top four seeds after Round 11, 2026
By SEN
Adam Simpson and Gerard Whateley have named their top four seeds following Round 11 of 2026.
Simpson and Whateley will each rank the four teams they have the most confidence in going forward on a weekly basis throughout the year.
The seedings will be updated as the season goes on via SEN’s Whateley.
See the seedings below:
SIMPSON
1 - Fremantle
2 - Geelong
3 - Sydney
4 - Hawthorn
“Only because they won on the weekend.
“The fourth spot has become wide open. You've got Hawthorn, Suns and Melbourne in fourth, fifth and sixth.”
WHATELEY
1 - Geelong
“They beat both Brisbane and Sydney.”
2 - Fremantle
“I'm going to make Fremantle play for the number one seeding.
“Go to the Gabba and beat the Brisbane Lions, and you can be one.
“They are going to stay at two until they win, but I'm going to grant them automatic access to one if they win. Go and beat the champs, and then you can be the one seed.
“If I go for them now and they don't win their 11th in a row, either I'm the jinx, or I flinched at the exact moment I shouldn't have flinched!
“This is the way to prove your absolute credentials.”
3 - Sydney
“They have to slide down because they lost.”
4 - Hawthorn
“Just because.”
