Huge names locked in for Legends Game 2026
By SEN
Dustin Martin and Cyril Rioli are already locked in for the 2026 Legends Game, but there are plenty more big names to come.
Dyson Heppell has joined the ranks for the Vics having been elevated from runner in 2025.
"We have an announcement, Dyson Heppell who played 253 games, former Essendon skipper has joined the Vics," Tom Morris said on SEN Breakfast. "He will play under Selwood and alongside Dusty."
The return of one of Australia’s most iconic sporting events, the Four’N Twenty Legends Game for Prostate Cancer was confirmed last months but the teams are starting to take shape.
Vics will be coached by Joel Selwood and captained by Brendan Fevola while the All Stars will have Kane Cornes at the helm and Shane Crawford as their skipper.
Following its hugely successful return in 2025, which attracted more than 31,000 fans to Marvel Stadium, raised over $1 million for the Australian Prostate Centre and became one of the biggest AFL television audiences of the year, the Legends Game is back for another unforgettable night of football and fundraising.
The Four’N Twenty Legends Game for Prostate Cancer will be played on Thursday, August 27 at Marvel Stadium and broadcast live nationally from 7pm AEST on Seven and 7plus Sport, with the first bounce scheduled for 7.30pm. The match broadcast will again be produced by SEN’s television production arm, Rainmaker, and delivered in collaboration with Ballpark Entertainment.
