Canberra Raiders legend Josh Papalii has confirmed he'll retire at the end of the season, bringing an end to his illustrious career.

Making his debut for the Green Machine back in 2011, the 34-year-old has been a damaging prop for the club, managing to play 340 games, which saw him break the club's all-time games record last season.

Papalii also went on to represent Queensland on 24 occasions alongside playing for Australia before switching to Samoa.

As a way of saying thanks, the club will rename its home ground from GIO Stadium to Papa's House to pay tribute to his contribution this Friday when they play the Broncos.

This will mark his final home game.
