Dixie Chic looks a promising filly, now winning two of her only three starts. She went back in the early stages and settled near last in the ten-horse field. She was still well back coming to the home turn before going widest of all from the 300m. She then came with a strong late finish to win by a long neck, going away. She should appreciate further and is a horse to watch. Chris Waller-trained filly Sanaya was about sixth and wide. She was under pressure from the 200m but kept responding and battled well for a sound second, resuming here at her third race start.
