Italktravel Caul. Village Stks (LR)
The favourite Keen Array continues to race in good form this preparation with two wins and a second since resuming. He began well here from his inside barrier (1) and soon drove through to retain the lead. He was overtaken by a riderless horse in the straight (Taddei Tondo, who lost his rider shortly after the start) but he still went on to score in very good style. Illustrious Lad raced in third place, moved up (deep) from the 600m, was checked (by the riderless horse) at the home turn and then kept battling on well for second, having no chance with the winner. Sebring Sun had a good trip in fourth place, put in a run at the 200m and then kept fighting on to take the minor placing.
