Cam Luke
FLEMINGTON
Race 2 | 3. Star Of Macedon
Only got back last start due to bad gate and even though drawn wide again in small field, I don't think he goes back today. DD can be proactive in a very tactical race. There is no doubt he profiles like a miler (maybe further) and he gets it today. Gets 4kg on FJ and wet track zero issue. I think he will appreciate it even more going around them then underneath them so look to him explode down middle of the track and go bang!
Race 3 | 5. Miss Aria
Was really good last start when beaten late by the Stylish who she meets better at the weights. Think CW goes fwd again and lets her make her own luck. There is a good chance she will again sit OSL DZ. Wet track no issue. I think the three girls who fought it out last time will do it again but I think MA can turn the tables on the winner due to weights and CW can outride the gun apprentice late.
Race 4 | 10. Simply Gold (each-way)
The 2500m feels perfect for this bloke today who had no luck start in Sydney when he had to stop start before hitting the line really well. He is going to go back from that gate so speed is of the essence and a couple of scratchings might hurt that but he will get into a groove and that’s all that matters. Rain won't hurt him and he will be picking a lot of them late. Has had a little trial since last run to top him off and he will run a huge race.
Race 9 | 3. Obvious
I have a little Q over CT at the mile which I do not have with this bloke. When they met 2 starts back, think this bloke was in the inferior ground. He loves the 1600 and the rain. Drawn nicely to stalk the speed and will be in front of CT who has drawn badly. Is well weighted compared to the fave and will take a bunch of beating.
ROSEHILL
Race 4 | 1. Big Red Tequila / 5. Useapin (exacta)
BRT is so perfectly placed and carrying weight isn't an issue for him and has chased home Ice Kool the last 2. 3rd up form nice and will win but is too short too back.
Useapin doesn’t always feature 1st up but they in tougher races than this. Has ticked over in trials and will sit on the back of leaders from the nice gate. Enjoys 1100 and is better than most of these and I think will chase home BRT.
Race 5 | 8. Attractiveness (each-way)
HC is a really nice horse and will be mighty hard to beat but is way too short. I'd rather back this girl the place. There is no speed and she will get across and control easily. She had trialled well and belted a much weaker field last start. 1300 suits as does the soft going. Her run before tipped out was pretty good and even though she might still need another prep to see her best, she is heading in the right direction and has major upside. Might take the Hello Captain / Attractiveness Quinella as well. But major bet will be the E/W on her.
Race 6 | 8. Aleppo Pine (each-way)
Talented juvenile who chased home the best and then ran pretty well for new trainer last start in a race that will hold up form... Was in the market a lot in better races in Melb before getting to NSW. Gets to the 1100 which works and the soft track isn't the horrid anchor it reads on CV. There is enough speed for Kmac to find a backside from that wider gate and he will run home strong enough to make his presence felt in a decent race.
Race 10 | 5. Supermassive
Bunch of scratchings not only means less horses but less fight for the lead and now this bloke will control it very easily from that gate! Was tough last start against the fave of the feature so will get a guide of the from in race before. TC loves dictating races and the wet track is a help. 1 out in the quaddie to bring us home!

FLEMINGTON
Race 4 | 5. Brilliantezza
Smashed them when she stepped up to this trip for the first time beating the older horses. Went to sleep in the run and she draws to do no work carrying 54kgs here, she’s a great each-way play.
Race 7 | 3. Al Duca (best)
Was brave in defeat last start after doing it tough coming across from the outside gate. Finally draws a gate to bounce on the bunny and control the race. Meets Seafall two kilos better off as well and is going to be hard to beat for his new stable.
ROSEHILL
Race 9 | 4. Midnight Dynamite
Smashed a handy field last start and he can go on with it here. Is unbeaten in three runs over this trip and he gets conditions to suit. Just has to overcome a tricky gate if he’s to win but will come across with Cool Jakey.
