The next Mr Brightside! Jumpout King makes a HUGE call

Scott Amor, the Jumpout King Extraordinaire, has made a colossal call on the future of three-year-old Cruiserweight.

The Ben, Will & JD Hayes-trained son of Hello Youmzain is currently two wins from two starts, claiming triumph by 5.8 lengths on debut at New Plymouth and 1.3 lengths at Swan Hill.

While the bay clearly has potential, Amor has hailed the colt as the next Mr Brightside for the Hayes stable!

“Cruiserweight, I was just so taken with his win at Swan Hill, first-up in Australia,” Amor told on SENTrack & RSN’s Giddy Up.

“I think he'll absolutely lap up the 1400m (on Saturday) and I think he could be anything this horse.

“He looks a potential top liner, I honestly think he could be the next Mr Brightside, in time, for the Hayes stable. I think he is a super horse this guy.

“He just won so easy at Swan Hall, I think if anything had challenged him, he would have found a lot more.”

While Amor admitted he did miss the gelding’s debut in New Zealand, the racing analyst admitted that Cruiserweight has to be a seriously impressive horse to be winning by such a large margin in his first ever run.

“I missed his debut but when you win by 6 lengths on debut, you've got to be a pretty decent horse to be doing that,” Amor exclaimed.

“I just thought the Swan Hill one was really a sign that he could get through to a very high grade.”

Cruiserweight runs in Race 3 at Caulfield on Saturday is currently $3.30 with Sportsbet, and if he has a career anything like that of Mr Brightside, then he will go down as a great.
