BET OF THE DAY (Melbourne)

CAULFIELD - Race 9 No.10 - YELLOW JERSEY - Resumes. Exciting import who was super in Qld beating all-bar fit, flying wet tracker (gap 3rd) and quickly spelled. The trials have been excellent. Thrashed Barnavara in recent Syd trial under a hold.

BET OF THE DAY (Sydney)

ROSEHILL - Race 8 No.6 - BLUE DOOR - Great speed to lead fresh then quickened nicely before beating all-bar smart Chilly Girl (beat third clearly) in fast time. Fitter! Top pick.

VALUE BET OF THE DAY

CAULFIELD - Race 1 No.5 - BUTTERNUT PRINCESS - Ran home nicely fresh 1100m then sharply to 1400m here 2nd-up and strong finale Vs days pattern. Won 3rd-up last prep. Blinkers go on. Overs $8?

Caulfield, Race 8 - G1 Memsie Stks - WFA - 1400m

1 - 2 - JIMMYSSTAR - Resumes. Flies fresh and trialling as well as he ever has. Had a myriad of things against him last prep. Beiwacht beat him at 1400m but this guy was back/ wide Vs bias that day and very good! Soft track no issue.

2 - 10 - BEIWACHT - Resumes. Also trialling very well. He's been at 1400m twice for two very fast G1 wins. In latest he beat Jimmysstar as reference. Soft-5 no issue but unknown if wetter really. A leader’s pattern (like last meeting) would really help him!

3 - 5 - ANGEL CAPITAL - Way back and good return him in high-rating race. Chased Jimmysstar all way home here in Orr Stks with both running proper G1 times/ splits. He can win.

4 - 7 - COSMIC CRUSADER - Match fit and flying! Unbeaten Soft and terrific win Lawrence Stks Vs pattern latest. Sure to run well but $5 is thin...

5 - 12 - TREASURETHE MOMENT - Resumes. Brilliant winner of this race fresh last year. Led (unsuited leading??) when beaten narrowly in Futurity Stks fresh last prep.

6 - 1 - MR BRIGHTSIDE - Resumes. Come up $11 here but now 9yo and long break. Beat all-bar Treasurethe Moment fresh last year this race. Beaten by Another Wil fresh prior.

7 - 3 - TOM KITTEN - Resumes. He flies fresh too and always trials well…. Not out of it at all.
