Telepathic scored a good first up victory here. She settled down in fourth position one out one back travelling particularly well approaching the home turn, before cornering in the centre of the track. She finished on really well to pick up the leader in the final 50m to score with a little in hand. Countryman led and ran along in front he kicked strongly at the top of the straight before being grabbed late on just going under. A sound effort in defeat.
