Bjorn Baker-trained, New Zealand-bred filly Bonny O’Reilly is now unbeaten in two starts following her debut win in a Nowra Maiden (1000m) on 24 April to score in very good style here. She began well but was then eased after being caught deep from her wide barrier (13) to settle midfield and wide out. She went deep on straightening, when still well back in the field and commenced a strong finishing effort. She then sprinted quickly to hit the front at the 100m and she then went on to win comfortably in a really promising effort.
