30 years on, this week’s episode of This Is Your Journey – thanks to Tobin Brothers is a 1996 AFL premiership special.

With the flag claimed by perhaps North's greatest team in their history, it’s a winning moment that means plenty to Roos fans everywhere.

The Roos won the clash by 43 points over Sydney, with the victory the club's third flag and the first of two in the 90s.

Legendary defender Glenn Archer was the Roos' best player on the day and was awarded the Norm Smith Medal for his 22 disposal performance. His defensive teammate David King joined the show to discuss the huge day.

He was joined by forward/ruck Corey McKernan, who dominated with 29 disposals, Anthony Rock, who had a goal and 25, as well as coach Dennis Pagan in this week’s special episode.

The quartet discussed their ’96 GF memories and much more.
